Urgent: Colombia Earthquake Relief & A Direct Way to Help (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much to those who have reached out. I am safe, but the aftermath of the earthquake here in Colombia is devastating, and I want to use our community to help.

On a very personal note, my cousin’s apartment was severely damaged in the quake. I am putting together an emergency fund to help her start to rebuild and recover from this loss. (I'll add some videos below of the aftermath).

As many of you know, outside of my writing here, I am a medical student. Over the last 24 hours, I’ve been in contact with friends, family and colleagues who are currently working shifts at the hospitals in the most affected areas. They have told me directly that the situation is critical. They are rapidly running out of basic medications, wound care, and humanitarian supplies needed to treat the injured.

Because time is of the essence, I am bypassing Patreon for this so we don't have to wait for the monthly payout cycle or lose a large percentage to platform fees. Instead, I am leaving my direct Ko-fi and PayPal links below.

100% of the donations sent to either platform will go directly toward purchasing medicine and humanitarian supplies for these specific hospitals.

I will be completely transparent and post updates and receipts here so you can see exactly whose lives your generosity is touching.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with my country right now.

If you can’t donate please help me repost on Tumblr.

We will get back to our usual story updates soon, but right now, this is where my focus needs to be.

With so much love and gratitude,

Ali
