Director’s Cut is a special, one-time edition created to raise money for my cousin, whose hometown of Manizales, Colombia, was affected by the 7.4 earthquake that took place on August 10, 2026.

The earthquake severely affected her recently purchased apartment, leaving her without a safe place to live and creating unexpected expenses while she works to rebuild.

Instead of simply asking people for donations, I wanted to give something back in return for their support. BABY has always been a story that so many of you have supported, so I wanted to create something special that could both expand the story and help my cousin during this difficult time.

Because of this, 100% of the money raised through this special edition will go directly to my cousin. The funds will help cover her first few months of rent and housing expenses while she works toward getting back on her feet.

What’s Included

The Director’s Cut will contain 20 chapters in total.

10 chapters have already been released, and the Director’s Cut will include those original 10 chapters plus 10 completely NEW chapters written specifically for this expanded edition. Each chapter will be approximately 10,000 words, meaning the complete Director’s Cut will contain approximately 200,000 words of BABY.

The 10 new chapters will ONLY be available as part of this $20 bundle. They will not be released individually, sold separately, added to Patreon, or made available through another purchase option.

I am specifically using Ko-fi rather than Patreon for this fundraiser because Patreon withholds funds before they become available. Since the purpose of this edition is to get financial help to my cousin as quickly as possible, Ko-fi allows me to receive the funds directly and pass them along to her without that additional delay.
