Hey everyone,

Firstly, just wanted to say we've moved Roundtable Hold back a week, so it'll now come out when both the episodes it covers are public on YouTube. We wanted to give people more of a chance to have seen both episodes so they can dive straight into a new episode of Roundtable Hold.

And with that said... on this week's episode, we're heading back to school and cramming some essential Elden Ring theory: Status Effects.

There are 7 in the game and we're going to learn what they are, what they do, how they're applied, their benefits, and how to deal with them. And also why you shouldn't roll through poison.

Join us for an educational (and fun, we promise) instalment of Roundtable.

Hell yes, I was hoping for an RKG weekend

I was wondering how Gav and Rory knew that Anti Finchy's fire would counter Aunty Finchy's frost! Now I know.

You know it's gonna be a good one when Krupa has a presentation ready

That weird silent cut at the end of the episode, something or nothing?

Question: Why did Krupa put a picture of an ant on the slide?

Joe Stevens

Gav asks such good questions

Loved this episode. Hope they do one about poise and how good jumping attacks and guard counters are for getting vissos

Whiskeyjack1k

watching the opening cinematic at various points in the game really adds so much flavour and intrigue

The presentations Krupa puts together are so informative and engaging. Excellent skills and explanations

Krupa, every time I watch one of your videos where you take a mechanic from this game — a game that seems so overwhelming and impenetrable to me — and break it down, it makes me feel one step closer to finally picking up a controller and trying it for myself. Thank you!
