I remember the first time I watched The Master something clicked but I wasn’t sure what. As far as first viewings go, it was challenging but I knew I liked it. Soon after i rewatched it, everything fell into place and now that film remains one of my all time favourites. Joaquin Phoenix and Phillip Seymour Hoffman absolutely but on masterpiece performances

Worst joke ever? Or just because I've never heard the phrase before?

Joaquin Phoenix not getting an Oscar for that performance should go down as the biggest pisstake ever but sadly DDL got it for Lincoln instead - Gav <3

I wasn’t even that fussed about Lincoln ngl. I mean DDL is a great actor but I don’t remember anything from that film besides the big ‘ooh I’m the president and I’m powerful’ speech lmao
