The problem is, if Gyro adopted BOYD, there would be no one to keep Doofus from terrorizing his parents. And they need a child they can actually love instead of fear. I'm sure BOYD is happy to have them as a family, though.

Firstly, this is one of my favorite episodes in this whole season! I love Boyd🫂❤️ 3:15. I'm the same way. I feel like, unless I'm experimenting in the kitchen (which I do like, once or twice a month), I follow the ingredients list, to a T! 7:46, "He's wired a little differently." Fun fact: Osamu Tezuka, the creator of Astro Boy (one of the first anime’s and one referenced heavily in this episode) was first inspired to draw by Carl Banks, the creator of Scrooge McDuck, Gyro Gearloose and many other characters. I think it’s a nice homage to one of the many people inspired by Banks’ comics.
