Nott's minor breakdown this episode made me tear up

L Frances

Thing with Essek is, I still think he's an absolute product of the flaws of his culture. His mom was a devout religious follower of the Luxon, to the point she neglected her son's emotional fragility. Verrat was a militaristic devotee, willing to kill & die for his faith, that he didn't realize what his best friend was going through. And the Queen is a hypocrit, holding others to a standard she won't hold herself to & pushing Essek to trust a psycho like Trent over his own people. It was absolutely just a matter of time before this society faced a reckoning for the issues they ignored, and Essek's right at the center of it. And on the other hand, I wouldn't say Caleb's parents' deaths weren't his fault. They were. No matter how gaslit & conditioned he was by Ikithon, he made those decisions. He regrets them, but they're still his sins. He can act against the elements that pushed him to that place, but he'll never be free of that blame.

First of all, so glad they liked all the shirts. I tried to pay attention to the characters that you liked. And I did try to get shirts that weren’t spoilers for you. I don’t want to ruin anything for you. For anyone wondering where I got them from? I got them off of redbubble. Finally, this episode was so good. It just made everyone realize that they’re better together. That they can forget who they used to be and their flaws and just realize that it’s OK to be different in this group. Poor Nott and Jester with their mental breakdowns. I actually cried at those moments. Fjord trying to understand his powers as well as Molly, trying to figure out who he is. Beu was trying to make up for not doing enough, and Caleb not wanting anyone else to get hurt because of his decisions and i’m feeling that he needs to do it alone so that he can make up for it. I gotta figure out where I found this information, but I read somewhere that goblins are reliant on alcohol. Which makes me cry even more when Nott started slurping it off the ground.

2026-09-19 16:00 11:05. Me and Morgan chanting "kill him" x6🤣🤣. Also, your face Morgan when you realize he was talking about Trent. Priceless🤣🤣 13:05, "I'll never meet anyone weirder than you" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. That's so true😂😂😂 15:58, "I LOVE THEM, YOUR HONOR! I LOVE THEM. I LOVE THEM. I LOVE THEM." Me too❤️ 17:27, "Oh wait. Shit, I forgot.. I was supposed to watch this on Amazon Prime" 😂😂😂😂. I was so confused! I was like, "Did you learn Germany/Zemnian in a short amount of time, or what🤣?!" 🤣🤣🤣 18:35-19:07 Spitting facts here Morgan👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 21:47. Yeah, Verrat is almost too understanding and forgiving of Essek, for my taste. In my opinion, he has given Essek too many chances. 25:35. Yes, it's a cool looking staff. Totally see the shoutout to Avatar the last airbender, but I don't like the way Dairon said "this Was mine." Was, as in past. I'm worried😟 29:35, "A torture chamber?" You could say that. But also, the face you made, right before you said that.. Same Exact Face as me when I first watched this!! 38:50, "that is him." Yeah. So, my newest theory when it comes to Molly, is that he's a God. Don't know if he was a good or bad God, but a God. Unless he's a Demonic God🤔? Idk 40:08-40:28 All true! 41:26. And like that, she's gone. She's at peace 41:41 *gaaasp, followed by a few seconds of silence* "she's got this shit? So, either she's got this shit now, or she's had this shit and has been covering it. Idk, Idk!" Yeah, the Queen has Tyfros. At this moment, we don't know how long she's had it. Now, if the Queen don't want to be a hypocrite, she's gotta die! 43:30. I knew that was going to be your reaction😁😆! I believe that Beau is either lesbian or bi. Or something else, Idk🤷🏽‍♀️, but 🥳🏳️‍🌈GAY🏳️‍🌈🥳 45:35. RIDING FJORD🤣🤣🤣🤣 51:12. Yeah. The only things I do believe in are: Heaven & Hell, spirits/ghosts, and Karma. I wouldn't destroy holy places or anything like what Jester is doing. Respect other people's beliefs. 54:46 "You think you're the worst piece of shit and The Shit, at the same time" He's not exactly wrong. 54:51-55:10. Yeah😂😂😂, Fjord gotta work on his peptalks🤣🤣🤣 1:00:45. Correct as always. First time I watched this scene, I was like "Why is Essek by her side, like an allie? What did he say?" Turns out, he told her that it was Verrat who stole the beacon, which is a lie!!! Either Essek gets an awesome redemption arc or I want to see him dead!! 1:06:55. You could definitely say that again. Also, waaaayyy to open a new plot line for The Mighty Nein to explore🤩 Last edit: As you can probably tell, I truly enjoyed this reaction, and I'm so excited to see your reaction to the season 1 finale, cause it's.. in a word, WAOW!! Anyways, I hope you're having an awesome day and I'll see you in your next reaction Morgan. Peace✌🏼

One thing is the dynamic between Tress and De Roga is the same between most members of the Cerebrus assembly. Its a council of wizards who advise the king based on their position (and Trent is literally im charge of propaganda and spies, thats his job description) and they all jocky with each other for more power and favor while being cordial and using each other as tools when can. Yes its basically the evil council of evil wizards. A previous member showed up in Mighty Nein. Her amd her husband visited Whitestone...

The one flaw in essek's mother is her insistent on her religion for her child. And using her death as a way to try to convert him to the faith. Thats just so out of line to me that I can understand why Essek snapped.

"She's got this shit?" I think she's had it for a while... because that would explain why Verrat said she was acting not like herself. The Traveler seems to be a trickster/chaos god...so Jester is right, causing chaos to other gods seems a pretty good way to win his favor/attention. That's Molly's book she has - remember he was told the magician he hired for the ritual had stolen it? Looks like we know who he hired now. And if whatever this ritual was it needed an archmage just to help...it was something big.

I feel like Jester and Nott's temple vandalism will be remembered.

Smelling too bad for a back alley hook-up in medieval times is actually pretty impressive. Also, glad you got to see Beauregard, the disaster lesbian. Your reaction is priceless.

I'm so happy you now know that Beau is indeed a girl kisser. I was hoping this day would come soon because MY GOD was it so hard for me not to say shit about it. The best way to describe Essek is "high intelligence, low wisdom." I'm so sad the season is already over, I want MORE! Enjoyed the reaction as always!

I’m curious if Essek knew his mother approached the Bright Queen, or did he think Verrat told Queen Leylas about his mother’s sickness? Then he blamed Verrat for the Beacon theft as payback.

Yoshinatorsaurus

I love the chemistry and adorable slow burn in Fjord and Jester's relationship. Their VAs being an actual couple probably helps. Also, I get what Deirta was trying to do, but making your own son kill you to get him to accept your religion is pretty messed up.

Yoshinatorsaurus

When Mosco was reacting to this, she actually agreed with the whole "choosing when you die" part of the Creen's religion. I get it, but it's important to note that they would've killed Deirta after finding out she had Typhros whether she wanted to or not, and making Essek do the deed was really out of line. I get why Essek became this way and I can't totally disagree with him, though framing Verrat was still messed up.
