It’s a real shame, though on the fact that the captain had to go to a Magic island just to feel like he didn’t mess up Cassandra’s life because he didn’t tell her about her past. At the time he felt like he was protecting her, but instead he made things a lot worse he felt like. You are absolutely gonna love the next episode next week and that nothing left to lose shirt. You’re gonna wanna wear that cause it’s over an hour long.

Also if you notice Cassandra gets paler each time we see her the show never pointed it out, but I think some theorized that the moonstone takes her energy

I think Owl followed the Captain after he met up with Cassandra and stayed with him since Cassandra is not acting like herself right now and he would be another familiar person to be around instead. This episode is so heartbreaking to see the Captain blame himself and try to be a better dad this time. He tried to give her a loving family to the best of his ability after she was abandoned by her mother and that cannot be an easy thing to process. Especially since Cassandra had repressed her memories of her mother.

Ya its a fun head-cannon, the storyboard artist I think it was Anne or Tom Caufield, confirmed there was no real reason story wise, just a color compositing choice cause Cass looked weird if she had her normal skin-tone with her Moonsandra fit.

As much as I disliked most of the island episodes, this episode is so painful in a good way. I also liked getting to see how cassandra's choices have affected the captain and vice versa.
