It is here and I was a balling mess. As much as it sucks that we didn’t get a full season, at least we got an ending to their story. 😭💜🌈

Morgan fumbleing their words 20 seconds in... This is gonna be GOOD

Xýliandra

I already know that you Morgan are gonna be bawling your eyes out. Let's get into it, shall we? One last time 14:15 Yeah, that right there is an accurate representation of my emotions after the season 2 finale 28:30 "I WAS KEEPING IT TOGETHER, But It's Gone!" New record. It didn't even take you 30 minutes into the reaction for you to lose your cool, calm, and collective-ness😅😭 30:42 The fact you CLOCKED THAT SHIT, SO FAST, Is Impressive!!! I honestly had NO IDEA what had happened to the Metatron. Ngl, I'm glad he vanished/got erased. MF deserved it😤 1:19:10 Clocked it, again! Morgan, you beautiful genius!! How are you able to figure these things out, way ahead of me?! You know what? I already know the answer to that question. You are brilliant😁 1:23:50 "He is Selling It, Holy Shit!" He really is, and I Love It😈🤣 1:46:26 CROWLEY IS HAVING THE TIME OF HIS LIFE WHILE AZIRAPHEL IS STREAMING AND HOLDING ON FOR HIS DEAR LIFE🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 2:23:47 "Give us the South Downs Cottage... YES!!" YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAH❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 2:27:13 I KNEW you'd react like that to the Nightingale!! Last edit and my final thoughts of Good Omens as a whole: I really enjoyed this show. Like you Morgan, it got me hooked from episode 1! David and Michael did a phenomenal job acting these characters and their many interactions. I'm sad to see the show end, but at least we got a decently good ending. I think it's wholesome that Crowley and Aziraphel got to find each other again as humans. And yes they were together for 20+ years, which is very short compared to their angelic lifespan, but they don't remember that they used to be angels, so, they're pleased with the time they got!! I'm so grateful to the amazing people who fought with nail and tooth to give us such a wonderful finale. "Don't be sad that it's over. Be glad that it happened." Is a good quote for this occasion❤️. Okay, I'm done ranting. I loved this reaction as always, and I'll see you, in your next reaction Morgan. Peace out✌🏼, take care🫂, bye bye👋🏼

SPOILERS: So I don't know if you've noticed or if someone else told you this, but the guy that Jesus is drinking with in the bar at the end is actually Adam from season one!

Hey Morgan. I watched this show for the first time with you and I just wanted to let you know that you are extremely valid in your feelings and thoughts. I also didnt like God at all and I too was born in a Catholic/Christian household. I myself am atheist but I loved seeing different interpretations media has come up with for Christianity. I love David Tenant and seeing you sob endlessly made me want to respectively give you a hug. Im sending you a non invasive air hug your way. The second I got the notification I stopped watching the Mighty Nein Dnd Campaign and watched this with you. Im sure there were more tears during the editing process for you and I both love and hate seeing you cry. Love because you arent afraid to get emotional with you reactions and I love how you get so passionate about characters you love. Hate because I dont like seeing people cry in general. It makes me very emotional as well. There have been many times I would watch your reactions and when you start crying I just go "Awwe Morgan!! Im so sorry." out loud like Im there with you lol. Anyway thats enough ranting from me. I loved your reaction to good omens and I cant wait to see more in the future (when I can afford to pay for patreon. Sometimes i can and sometimes I cant which is why I im here on and off. You deserve the support)

I was so excited to see your reaction and didn’t disappoint. I definitely get a bittersweet feelings towards this ending I’m sad that our angel/fallen angel infibble husbands couldn’t be together in their universe, but the way I see the end credits might have been hinted at God creating multiverses so no matter the universe, the two always find each other and that last one some people are speculating that those are our original pair watching all the universes together in their new garden of Eden.

Sorry for long reply. I don't mean to be negative. David and Michael did such a good job through this whole show man. They really are Aziraphale and Crowley. And to me, they still exist, and are together. Their whole shared history and experiences shaped them and made them and their relationship what it is. Those characters in my mind are happy, and got to live on, like in the book. I understand why they ended it the way they did, but they didn't have to do it like that. It felt almost mean spirited to me, that because they have history and baggage, they don't get to be happy, and instead have to become completely different people with different experiences, to get to be together. They've always been a safe space for me, as neurodivergent and queer representation, who are eternal, and their organic, real love for each other, through everything brought me so much joy. So to see them almost being sacrificial lambs for humanity breaks my heart. I just wish they had remembered, or even gave everyone free will, God stays out of it, but let Aziraphale and Crowley be guardians of humanity, not interfering, but just witnessing. The rest of the angels and demons could go and live the life they want, no longer tethered to heaven or hell. I'm not a writer, so my ideas are a bit shit, but I feel there were other ways of doing this. Even if they'd just spent more time, so we could see them interact more and just be with each other. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth that they ended it without getting to spend more time with them just getting to be together. It's like Jobs kids, I don't want new children, I want the original ones. In my head they still exist, and are dining at the Ritz.

Big ending, big emotions. I personally loved the ending, because they addressed the answer to Crowley's question even if they didn't do so explicitly. The reason why humanity had to suffer the way it did, for eternity if they went to Hell was because God thought that was a good story... for 6,000 years. Crowley and with a (very) small amount of persuasion Aziraphale realized the only escape from God's caprice was to remove God from the equation. A world where people could love and live and be messy without supernatural entities playing with them like chess pieces. Because in the end that's what everyone, including all the angels and demons up to and including Satan were, just playthings for God. So they created a universe where they could just be, which was a very Terry Pratchet very Humanist way to end things. The only just and moral world is one where humans decide and define justice and morality, not Gods. They so loved the world that they gave up themselves for it.

Dinker

Because it's very easy to interpret that everything, including Michael destroying the Book of Life, was God's plan. Because God was done with that story, that game, and wanted to move onto something else. Having angels and demons exist, souls in hell or heaven would have been messy.

On a brighter side to the ending (which was beautiful btw) - at least that no matter the universe these Inneffable Idiots always find each other... Which is nice. Also at the diner seeing Jesus and Adam be friends was a nice touch (plus all the other demon/Arcangel cameos) without these out of worldly expectation the Christ and the Anti-Christ would be hanging out

Oh... "In their own garden of Eden" ... I can see that

Phoenix_mercury

One cameo I wish they'd included is Beez and Gabe...

Phoenix_mercury

My HC is that as they spent time together they remembered everything simply because of proximity to each other

Phoenix_mercury

Grabbed my comment from the discord to transfer over here: so I've(so far) not seen anyone mention/point out how god was right about one specific thing... "It starts, as it will end, with a garden" beginning of ep 1 right before we get the garden of eden, then at the end they're in chairs... Sat in the garden

Mind if I take this HC? Because I desperately need copeium after this.

loving your reaction to good omens as always! this episode is amazing to me, i've not read fanfics and i can see why you would feel that way tbh i haven't even thought abt the time they spent together as so much compared to the human versions of them... i was so sure that they were so human in their own way that they had to meet as humans in every universe bc as Aziraphale said he's complete with Crowley so they're bound to find each other in any AUs you can think about and it's so great for the artistic/writing part of the fandom but there's also their angel/demon version, they'll live on in some ways bc it's an universe without god but there's so many others and also the one we have seen them as through the whole series. this version lives on somewhere and they loved humankind (us) so much that they join hands and sacrifice their love for us to exist with free will, it's so beautiful and sad at the same time i love our aziracrow as we know it but i love as much the human version even tho their screen time was more to wrap up a happy ending, they have chosen each other, it took for them to find eachother in this timeline but they did i need a childhood best friends to roommates to lovers AU now... anyway i loved watching every single of your reaction and cry with you bc no matter how many times i watched the show, it just pulled on my heart strings so violently

The amount of ugly-crying I did over this finale… I've watched it six or seven times by now, and I always tear up so many times. Initially, I hated the ending, but now I love it. The music choices in GO are never without meaning. When Asa and Anthony have their first date, in the end, the song playing is "Time After Time", and the end credits show them meeting in all kinds of worlds. In many belief systems, reincarnation is NOT tied to any God, so it is possible in a godless universe, and we see so many characters in the end who were destroyed by Michael's rampage — what else are we supposed to take from that? Well, either reincarnation, or a whole multiverse of worlds. In any case, I believe that their love is so strong that they're going to live again and again, and they're going to find each other everywhere and anywhere.

Yoshinatorsaurus

Just when I thought I'd never get to see you love David Tennant again. 😂 What an incredible end. The most I've teared up at a show in a good while. Crowley's "I'll wait for you." Especially got me. You can really feel the weight of his and Aziraphale's relationship. He IS Crowley's home. 🥰 Also, the guy Jesus is sitting at the bar with is actually Adam!

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

I didn't really expect to enjoy this finale. But that scene with God in the bookshop was magnificent, and the emotional double gut-punch of the Cyndi Lauper song and the portrait of Sir Pterry just about wrecked me.

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

Also, the age of "Ineffable Husbands" is over. Now they're just...husbands. And it seems like that's all they ever wanted. So I'm happy for them.

Got a membership just to do my third rewatch with you. Your reaction actually made me appreciate this finale so much more! I think it's a lovely and poignant piece of art, and I absolutely loved your reactions to this entire series <3

I also have such mixed emotions, but I think this ending was beautiful. Bittersweet, but beautiful.
