I honestly kinda hate this episode. The “who” puns were DOA, but I can let that go. Spike comes across as pretty stupid in this one, but his intelligence does change as the needs of the story dictate. What gets me is (1) how utterly predictable it all was. I don’t think there was a single beat I couldn’t see coming. And (2) how unnecessary since (spoilers) Owlowiscious is barely used in the rest of the series.

You also have to remember: spike is like 6-8 years old... ☝️🤔😂🤣😅 you did mention it, but still Remember he IS a dragon, so he loves attention So you were suspicious of owlouicious

Just got home from having to get my blood drawn, this will be a nice wind down

Funfact: part of mlp is based on dnd, and twilight being a noble wizard has an assistant and a owl familiar

Willow 404

which is really unfortunate imo bc every episode that owlicious IS in, i love his attitude

You don't need to worry about Owluious. He is more of a second assistant/ pet to Twilight and Spike is her #1 assistant/little brother kind of thing. So far 5 out of the Mane 6 have their own pet now. I liked this episode. But the 1 little critique I do have about it is that rarity gave the owl the exact same kind of bowtie that she gave to Spike. If she was going to do that couldn't she have chosen a different color or something

Not to mention, he's still a baby as said by Twilight. And we know at this point that dragons live for hundreds of years due to Dragonshy

THIS EPISODE SUCKS!!! Okay, to be fair, it had something going for it with the angle of older child being jealous of new baby. But it does nothing new with it and paints everyone involved as fucking idiots just to get the plot rolling. The humor induces groans rather than laughs, especially with that one joke they hammer into the ground and wasn't even that funny the first time! The writing is overwrought with spelling out everything the characters are thinking. The visuals are decent, but they had a lot of weird tonal shifts, especially during moments that were intended to be emotional, and the message gets muddied when everything else didn't properly set it up. In other words, Owl's Well That Ends Well... does not end well.

Oh boy. This episode🙄 9:20 Not the "The punch has been.. Spiked" pun😅. They needed to throw in a little adult humor😅 29:30 Aww. That's fair😅 31:58 "RWBY, Vox Machina, Stranger Fucking Things!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Last edit: I didn't say much here, but that's because this isn't one of my favorite episodes. But I liked your reaction to this! You're getting closer to the season finale and I'm looking forward to it😊. Anyways, I hope you have a nice evening and I'll see you, in your next reaction Morgan. Peace✌🏼
