Apparently, Rarity was going to be in this episode as well, but either for time reasons, or the fact that Tabitha St. Germain voices both Rarity and Luna so their voices ended up sounding very similar, they ended up removing her scene.

It sounds frustrating because of the injuries, but it's also kind of sweet/endearing that your grandpa wants to help out by taking out the bins. Both my parents are in their 70s, and while they're not feeble by any means, they are slowing down and not doing as much as they used to. Dad sometimes can't drive because of shoulder pain, and he no longer mows the grass. Mum should probably be slowing down on some things, but she keeps making more work for herself; she put a tub in the kitchen sink to catch excess water, and when it's full, she pours it into her garden. We have sprinklers on a timer, so the tub really is unnecessary, but she refuses to stop. 🤷‍♀️

At long last you behold the glory of THE ONE TRUE PRINCESS OF THE NIIIIIIIIGHT! There are many many reasons why Luna is undeniably ranked as Best Princess. And to think, she didn't show up in Season 1 because the suits thought she would be 'too dark and scary' for the show. In other trivia, Starswirl the Bearded, father of the 'amniomorphic spell'. Breaking apart that term, amnio=Bowl/vessel Morphic=to shape. So it's a magical spell to shape a bowl or vessel, which in ye olden times would usually be made out of clay. And what is someone who shapes clay into practical items called? Yup, The writers really went the extra mile to call him a hairy potter. Oh, and if you noticed the lack of Rarity, there was a scene scripted of Twilight taking Luna to see her and them having some fun shenanigans trying to find a costume for Luna, but it got cut for time.

Also, in case you didn’t notice, Luna kept using plural pronouns (we, us) just for herself, pretty much referring to Nightmare Moon as well since she still feels very guilty about what she did

It was more the Royal "We". Idk if royals do this today, but centuries ago, every King and Queen, Prince, Princess, and other royals, when they spoke of themselves, they'd use "We" instead of "I"

At last, the Princess of the Night has returned! I'm so happy they brought Luna back. I love her interactions with the cast. Watching this royal who's been isolated for a thousand years trying to connect with modern ponies is just really fun! And as an introvert, extremely relatable.

Of the two, Luna is my favorite. They did change her look a little bit. Gave her a glow up as it were because in the first episode, she has light blue mane and blue pelt. And now her hair floats like her sister's but it has sparkles in it light the night sky, her pelt is a midnight blue and she's also taller than she was before. But she's still shorter than Celestia. Also Rainbow Dash costume was the Shadowbolt uniform from the season episode as well. Those were the ponies that Nightmare Moon created and tried to get her to join to betray the others.

Oh my gosh I would love to hear more stories about your grandpa she reminds me of my grandpa this man he is a widower he lost my grandma last year they've been married would have been 52 years I'll have to ask him how to have open heart bypass surgery and he has stents from a heart attack about I think 20 to 30 years ago I will have to ask my mom for details about that and this man oh my goodness he's my she might be my mom's dad but that man raised me in my two sisters holy crap I love him to pieces but he had to go in for my password and he's not the first person in my family to have to go in and have that done my mom when she was 39 I think yeah when she was 39 she had to have open heart surgery and I don't want to get in all the details and I was fairly young at the time and she like my grandpa he has a garden he was split The Lawns and he was chopping wood the day before he went into the hospital that's what kind of man my bumper is he is they don't make him wait him anymore they really don't and he he loves his girls but you know Bobby from tablet that's who he reminds me of and he was a carpenter for I didn't 10 to 15 years and he retired in 2020 so yeah and he turns 75 this year and he's still going strong he had some issues with antibiotics after his surgery and it kind of messed up his kidneys so yes been out of the in and out of the hospital since May since May and it's now September so yeah and but yeah I love that man I would do anything in the world for him and his his a real real gentleman he loves all his kids like all of my friends are literally his extra but yeah he holy yeah I love my grandpa and yours sounds like an absolute and absolute freaking Legend and and I might not supposed to send two and and he loves them all he loves them all so and I love him and I I have issues I'm here my dad don't remember my father we don't speak anymore I I don't really

Some fans think Celestia was pranking her sister a little by not letting her know that the Royal Canterlot Voice has... Fallen out of fashion, so to say. And we heard Celestia use it last episode when she said Twilight's Full Government Name to let her know how much trouble she was in. So she absolutely still can pull it out if she needs to. Since they didn't have Rarity in the episode because they had Tabitha voicing Luna so much and didn't want to overwork her, the Royal Canterlot Voice can't be easy on the throat, I headcanon that Rarity was sleeping off the exhaustion from finishing up all the costumes she was probably commissioned for in preparation for the holiday. And yes, The Fun Has Been Doubled joined the fandom memes after this episode, right alongside 20% Cooler.
