I think theres room for nuance here with Stolas and Dirty Bird. There is clearly a level of deserving to be punished there. I also think a healthy bdsm arrangement is a way to deal and work through those feelings. I think the part of the song/discourse thats uo for debate is whether stolas wanted to safe word and kept himself from doing it or not. The fact that we dont see any feelings from that spill out of the play and into real life along with the joy we see him post scene during after care make me think its the latter. Could be wrong there. Certainly a mind set he needs ro get out of.

Im really mad that we didnt get to see and hear the whole argument between Blitz and Stolas during court. It's one of the most important conversations theyve ever had and we miss half of it. I need an edit where we can see the whole thing

Agreed, using healthy bdsm isn't an uncommon way to cathartically and healthily process and deal with complex feelings, being able to be "punished" in a safe environment that isn't actually punishment and any party can stop the second it's needed, I do believe that Ricardo(found in another comment) would have stopped it if he'd noticed stolas pushing himself and gotten concerned, after all stolas has learned that his "unusual bed habits" aren't as bad/strange/wrong etc as he likely assumed, he's gone from a royal that had to keep everything hush hush to someo that can freely explore what he likes

It's not about who's right and who's wrong; they're both in the wrong equally. That said, I really don't like Blitz' "you held that book over me" comment. Like, he at the very beginning tried to break in and steal it. "You could just let me borrow it" My guy, you showed several times reluctance to return it when Stolas asked, and even treated it as yours during the harvest moon festival by saying that he needed it back asap. When were you planning to return it, when you are too old to work? He'd need that back everyday for his business! And he wasn't exactly complaining about the arrangement either. It's a beautiful episode and I'm glad they got to talk it through, but that line bothered me.
