review: B+/A-

-Fights feel good but both G-lizard and Monkie were a little too fast.

-Conspiracy theorists wet dream: Hollow earth/Ancient Civilizations/Secret Government/corporate tunnels around the earth/breakaway civilization tech

-We've finally transitioned from flame breath to pure lazerbeam weaponry

-MULTIPLE AXES

-Gojira smirks

-MechaG's carnival claw hands are kinda meh, could've used more missile fingers

-Needed more time in the Skullcrawler Gladiator pit

-Ghidorah's soul persists

-Mecha-Kevin almost gives G-lizard the Muto treatment

-Beam lock (could've been more pronounced imo)

-Tag team fight could've lasted a bit longer

-MechaG needed more missile/weapon FIRE EVERYTHING moments

-Humans are still meh, thought we'd get more with son of Serizawa

You forgot that the G-lizard remains undefeated against Kong. Easily made this an A+ film

RIP Limewire

There should've been some of godzilla in the hollow earth

Yeah I wonder if there was more with Serizawa's son that was cut because it feels like there was more there they just didn't show. Honestly though this is probably my favorite MonsterVerse film. Fights that aren't shrouded in fog, MechaG possessed by the ghost of Ghidorah, HOLLOW EARTH! Met all my expectations, will probably watch it again soon.

Usurper Dad sounds like a band name and I am here for it

after digesting it a few more times I still like KOTM better all around but I cannot deny the fights were much more defined. in GVK. they've learned some lessons.

Wintermute

KOTM was definitely the one pulling deep from the Godzilla canon (a little sad they didn't keep Ifukube's theme after) but the guys-in-suits battles from GvK and the lean toward more future-sci-fi/conspiracy territory won me over.
