BAKUGO IN THE TOP 3 BEST CHARACTERS IN THE WHOLE SERIES FOR A REASON! Also, dropping Banished Cout Magician. It's TOOOO generic and the combat animation has taken a slight hit, most MID show I've seen this season.

User testing pt.2 ( hope this is helpful for feedback for your team). Today I was a vod watcher ( my shows aren't here today/ I had other stuff to do so I'm just catching up). Some opinions: Pros: - I think having the news on twitch is for the better. Have unlimited time there to go in as much as you want, and I think it's a good platform for that type of chatting content - Love spinning for ALL the shows; makes it so much easier to organize as a watcher. When it was 3 at a time, had to constantly check what was being spun for/ where we were. Pretty convenient having all of them set and having the mods keep an active list for all of them. Think you should keep that. - Actively making the adjustments to the stream model is super dope. Thanks to kol/ team for trying to improve with testing Cons -Still think there should be a 30 min- 1 hour cushion at the start of stream for people to get in. It can be difficult to know when the stream is live, so having a little time of bullshitting before the shows start is helpful. Just chatting, media reacts, looking for ruckus clips, I think is really good to just have a little time before getting into it. -Active playback (where you can live rewind or pause) is still missed. Really gives a lot of flexibility that's it's not easy to replace. Peeped for 1 min live and it was still kinda disorienting catching up. Get that kols hands are tied, but that's a very important factor when you wanna watch the stream for specific reactions. This extends to picture in picture too -Need that time limit expanded. Patreon taking time for the vod uploaded too is simply insane. I love the 10-20 min pauses and reacts to one really hype scene on heliocentrism ( orb was a secret BANGER) and I think that's a main draw for the patreon. Can't get that anywhere else for stuff that doesn't get a dedicated vid or is just a vod clip on the yt. Overall: I think the adjustments were dope and shout outs to the KOL team ( kol, mods, editors, etc.) for really experimenting with a new model. Think there are a lot of substantive improvements that make the stream better as a watcher. Some inherent patreon limitations though are still an issue- lack of: unlimited time limit, active playback, picture in picture, lower quality streams, I think really hurt the viewing experience. That's gonna hurt especially in a packed season like Winter 2026 looks like it's gonna be/ days where all the stuff people really care about lands One thing I've been thinking is, maybe segmenting the hype shows or seasons could be a solution down the line. Paying for Vimeo, but for less time, with only the core line up. I.e. patreon native streams most days, but having a set Vimeo day for the big shows or Vimeo for "big seasons" exclusively I think is a possible fix. But of course there's issues with that, takes way more logistic effort, and is highly dependent on Vimeo pricing; but that's down the line during a more critical period. Support using this season as a testing phase! Side note: (I'm not unemployed; I'm a business/ market analyst and user testing is part of my day job so this is kind of a cool exercise giving feedback).

up like if you have complaints like mine 1. cant watch on phone, cant fast-forward/ rewind a live stream on pc until after vod, cant watch in any quality higher than 720p, cant preview thumbnail while fast-forwarding to see the show you want, having choppy still frames watching the live stream every other few seconds on pc, fed up paying inflated prices for a overall horse shit experience. angry over talks about you cutting streams down to 5 or 6 hours yet refusing to cut low quality mid shows like dusk beyond, banished court magician AND FINALY WHY ARE WE WATCHIN TOJIMA ON MONDAY OR LATER WHEN THE EPISODE IS REALESED ON SATURDAY? KOL YOU NEED TO STACK THE BEST SHOWS THAT COME OUT on Saturdays for Saturdays and any left over show like spy x family and campirefire, one punch man can be saved for Wednesdays. i think majority of your viewers will agree since wensdays and mondays are something to watch to make the work day go by while saturdays are when most of us are OFF and want to sit down and relax watching your streams anyway

upvote if you want dusk beyond and banished court magician to be dropped in place for better new seasonal anime. i was thinking about dropping one punch if the animation didnt improve sort of like blue block season 2 they might be saving budget for last episode but im not sure.

Bakugo at Top 3 is not crazy to say but Endeavor, Shigiraki, & All Might sit pretty comfortably at top 3 imo. even Deku, Todoroki, & Toga could be up there for me

If you could post timestamps when the episodes begin for each series, it's harder to find the episode you want to watch without getting spoiled. As an only VOD watcher. I have no other complaints.

Damn I had NO IDEA what I was in store for regarding the My Hero Academia episode... HOLY SHIT I got mad respect for Bakugo after the feats and hype this episode! Dude turned into a legit speedster after unlocking more of his powers, this is what I love about Bakugo and his development over time. He's doing all of this shit with a single quirk through sheer mastery and depth of experience using it in different situations, now that's far more impressive to me than Deku with his "oh my seven quirks" situation, which leads to him never developing the level of depth and mastery over a single one. GOATED episode hands down, one of the best MHA episodes of all time (when Bakugo started going so fast he couldn't even control his speed while laughing and loving every second of it... damn PEAK cinema)!

Ye man it's a tough toss-up for sure depending on what sort of characters, personalities, and developments you prefer. All Might by default deserves a top 3 spot, but in terms of depth and story impact BOTH All for One and Shigaraki/Deku (with Endeavor around a similar level maybe slightly less) sit quite comfortably in top 5 is not top 3 themselves. Personally I would put Bakugo below Shigaraki, Todoroki is an incredibly well developed, relatable, and badass character himself along with Dabi being one of the best villains throughout the series (I would put Todoroki above Bakugo in most areas), however, Bakugo was absolutely GOATED this episode and for sure I think it should guarantee him a top 5 spot in most people's lists (competition is OD stiff for him to be a legit top 3 character imo unless you truly just love his character and rivalry with Deku).

I haven't tested it on my iPhone yet, but for sure I can't access the video quality settings for VODs on my laptop (I wonder if different browsers might give users access to more media controls, I tend to watch media in Firefox). It's also inconsistent because some people reported that they could adjust video quality settings, but many cannot. Won't lie it is annoying af when the quality suddenly drops at hype moments and there's nothing you can do but wait for it to bounce back lol.

Thanks as always for your very insightful and fun to read analysis of the overall live streams and VODs viewing experience. Great points and cool to learn activities like this are within your day job, been catching up on VODs myself. Only complaints I have when watching VODs include: no option to control video quality settings, running the VODs seems to make the entire Patreon page laggy and more unstable for some reason (like sometimes I'll read all the comments and add some of my own, but I notice there's a slowdown for all the browsing and actions on the page until I stop the VOD from running), then the VODs keep friggin' freezing on me randomly requiring page refreshing (watching on my business HP laptop in Firefox). I'm not certain, but when I run the VODs I also notice hella memory gets sucked up slowing my system down.
