Inktober - Day 1 (Patreon)

Hi everyone! For the past four years I've been sitting on a bunch of offcuts from the framing mats given to me by the local frame store. I always wanted to do something with them but there never was a good moments to start. This year I've decided to use these as a base for the series of low effort paintings. Changing the medium doesn't come easy to me but I've been craving the change for a past year or so and Inktober is always a good excuse to try something new~

Here's my first mixed media piece of the series. I used a thick paper board/framing mat as a base, Kuretake brush pen for the lines, watered down black Talens gouache, black Winsor & Newton colored pencil and light pink uniPOSCA brush for the highlight.

Next time I'll take a photo of a sketch too 😅
