I agree with you, MoTA is the one I will rewatch the most. The only episode I rewatch from BoB is ep 9, when I feel the need to cry like a baby for a few hours. I also really liked that they showed us how differently Buck and Bucky were handling captivity (poor Bucky losing his mind playing pretend baseball).

By the time D Day came the allies would've had pretty much totaly air supremacy over Europe, the Luftwaffe would've had next to nothing to send against the Allied air forces, they were pretty much free to bomb and strafe at will, in fact the fighters that went on boming runs probably did more damage strafing trains and convoys on their way home than from hitting their actual targets.

The prisoners were lucky they weren't Russian...German treatment of Russian prisoners was inhumane to put it lightly.

The Japanese-American men who fought in WW2 even though they were sent to internment camps is another fascinating story that needs to be told.

I agree that the pacing in this one and the next feels odd but I really think that the show would be… less exciting. By this time in the war the Luftwaffe was defeated, any German planes were being sent to the Eastern front, until D-Day and even then they didn’t have a lot left in them. Addressing the segregation in the US at the time and what the interrogator was saying, the US military was one of the first parts of the US government to desegregate in like 1951 or 52, which didn’t happen super quickly but progress never does.
