Every character has so hit their stride by this episode. Pure enjoyment.

Great reaction as always. The angel/devil framework with Anna & Errinwrong (love it) and Frankenstein/monster onion with Jules-Pierre & Strickland are all so good it is easy to skip over how well the episode also sets up the tension on the Agatha King and the power dynamics/perspectives of Bobbie and the Roci crew (and within the crew) all the way back at the start.

It's kind of chilling to remember in that moment that Errinwright is turning the knife in Anna at the end, that according to him, every tactic, every motivation he has; he learned at the feet of Avasarala. He is her monster. She created him.

Amos is my favorite character closely followed by Bubbles, love that nickname. Amos has a very dark past that gets revealed in bits and pieces over the entire series. They have a short book dedicated to his character. You’re just going to love where this is going, it’s really just getting started. I really enjoy watching this with your reactions, you got me to really appreciate the camera work, plus you see stuff I never considered before, love it!

The angel/devil motif began in the previous episode. There was a dinner scene with Anna and Sadavir flanking S-G Gillis. Anna was in all white, Sadavir in all black, and Gillis in-between (literally and figuratively) with white shirt and black vest.

46:25: Oh, I'm following, and I am LOVING everything you're laying down! It's why this show is so good, there are so many layers you can peel back, so much that's subtle and worth deep analysis. They trust the audience to get it, and even if you don't think about it, it's still there and contributes to the tapestry. I didn't think about the "angels and devils" corollary when I watched this initially, but you're right, that's absolutely what they were doing. And the Frankenstein/Frankenstein's Monster allusion really fits with what Mao and Strickland are doing with the kids. Beautiful! You're awesome, Jacqui! 46:55: Well, we've had a few hints to Amos' backstory so far, and they paint a much less humorous picture. Remember when he told Alex "I grew up in places like this," when they were in a brothel on Tycho. Later, his talk to Prax about what interest certain types of people might have in a little girl like Mei, and what that life might be like for her (and it's not pleasant).
