the final scene with ellie and nora is absolutely chilling - bella ramsey absolutely knocked it out of the park showing ellie’s mask completely slip and revealing the rage hidden underneath

As a fan of the games (8 years now), I love this show. I’ve seen many things I’ve loved getting adapted. Percy Jackson (Tv Show) is another adaption I love. But I say this to say I’m not the type where it has to be one on one from the source material. All I care about is that they keep the moral or heart of the story correct. I don’t like watching things where I know what’s gonna happen anyways. Sure it’s fun and amazing to see things get adapted one on one to the screen but the whole show doesn’t have to be that way. It gets boring and I like to be surprised. This episode in particular is still one of my favs of the season. I just love the whole Nora scene. Again Bella knocked it out of the park and they have the entire season. So far my fav eps in order are 6,7,5,4,2,1,3. 2 is amazing but there are a lot of good episodes so it’s lower on the ranking even though I loved the episode. 5 and 4 are particularly close when it comes to ranking lol. Anyways your reactions have been so refreshing I found you through your Percy Jackson reactions and I knew you wouldn’t disappoint when I saw you were doing the last of us.

With the elevator, Nora wasn't going for the lesser of two evils, at least not initially. She was trying to get to the other side (double door shaft). The spores will always be a no win scenario, certain death. I am SO glad they found a way to bring them in for the Nora scene. It is pretty much the only scene from the game that would not have played out with as much impact in any other way, imo. For example I was fine with Ellie saving Dina by getting bit in the show (as opposed to giving her her mask as it happened the game).
