I do love this episode so very glad you enjoyed it as well. Bravo for Alyson Hannigan's abbs. I never noticed that rainbow neckless on Willow thank you for pointing it out. Please keep looking for things like that I would love to see how often rainbows show up.

Probably to late for you to see this but: - The van was not painted as a zebra, it was a Dingo, its the names of their band. - Them wearing stripes, it was one of the biggest fashions of the 90s. - Can state the Whedon was not thinking of making Willow gay at this point, so the rainbow stripes and necklace were just colour added in.
