The Last of Us Episode 1x07 Full Length Reaction

HE DOES HAVE PLOT ARMOR

Comments

Terry Yelmene

Perhaps... 'perfection' isn't admiration enough... for how 'absolutely perfect' this entire Reilly's story has been told here and throughout this miraculous series.. even to everything that has been 'left behind' and what has not. Goddammit! Jacqui! They made everyone cry... Again! And again... this has been an extraordinary reaction for a perfect episode of television.

I didn’t get to play the DLC so the Riley stuff was very illuminating. I think it fills in Ellie’s backstory wonderfully.

I hope the next 2 episode runtime does it well, I'm getting a lil worried

Movie Night

I agree! I think it fits perfectly, and I love that they went the Bill/Frank route...we saw Riley/Ellie at their best, but didn't actually have to watch Riley die. I don't think I could've handled that.

Movie Night

They haven't messed up yet, so fingers crossed!

The cynical part of me thinks they’re saving that scene for a terribly sad flashback in one of the two last episodes.

The Last Teletubby

Another parallel I think about compared to episode 3 is Frank tending to a wounded Bill. Bill assumes he's going to die and is already talking Frank through his plans for if that happens. Joel may not have the same planner mindset as Bill, but he immediately considers Ellie's life over his in telling her to leave for Tommy.
