Ok, I kind of regret doing what I did, because of how emotionally draining it's made writing all the following chapters. I write very 'method actor', and channeling all this misery is hard and taxing as hell.

Better times in the future, I promise!

No proofreader this chapter, due to a scheduling conflict. IRL is a pain. Let me know if you spot a typo!

Yeah this whole chapter I was like where’s my boi OP Jack at lmao. But as always great writing and I recognize this is a necessary step towards great things.

Did you read 14k words in 10 minutes? 😅

Who speaks in a southern DRAWLLLLLLL

Malcolm

Only coherent thought btw :)

Excellent Chapter. The method writing. Complete understand. It's heavy and it's hard but deep down, we know it's needed. For the sake of the character, for the sake of the story, for the sake of challenging ourselves.

It's gotten a line from a Lamb of God song in my head: "Lies are told, in a Southern drawl."

Thanks. Writing that challenges the reader isn't exactly what people think when they read erotica, but hopefully by this point in the story, they're on board.

Alejandro Salas

It's been long since I thought that erotica is just for sex. I believe that the fact that sex is allowed in erotica, gives the author freedom to explore a wider range if topics. Of course the sex is good. But if sex was all the attraction, then all authors would have patreon pages with a lot of supporters. All of us that are here (in my opinion) look for the extra effort in writing. So yeah, by this point in the story, we on board.

This is a fantastic chapter <3

Well done. These most recent two chapters have been excellent examples of pain/loss and the ways in which people deal with them. For Jack it was suppression of pain by indulging rage and mayhem. For Bea it looks like she's healthily processing. I hope she can avoid making a deal with the devil at the crossroads like poor Jack did. Both loved, both lost. Again, well done.
