“You’ve got ’til the 13th or fuck you!” - Steve on office holiday party scheduling

Recorded live at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey - 12.07.23

On this week’s episode, we were LIVE in Jersey City to chat about the Tim Allen Christmas classic, The Santa Clause! Shouldn’t Tim Allen’s character hate Christmas before being possessed by the soul of Santa Claus? Why did they give Wendy Crewson Uma Thurman’s exact haircut from Pulp Fiction? How fantastic is Judge Reinhold in this, as always? And how difficult was it to work with Tim Allen on that Disney+ sequel show? PLUS: Steve has an eagle eye spying a fat foot double for Tim Allen!

The Santa Clause stars Tim Allen, Judge Reinhold, Wendy Crewson, Eric Lloyd, David Krumholtz, and Peter Boyle as Mr. Whittle; directed by John Pasquin.

“Uhhrrr?”

Exambolor

First time watching this movie, seeing the bad early 90s CGI was hilarious

Rock solid live show audio quality - nice job guys! I will say, one extra layer to the hackneyed joke the movie makes about Denny's being an American institution *smash cut to Japanese customers*: I highly doubt this was intended when they shot the movie, but I can confirm that Denny's is huge in Japan. I went to one of them twice when I was out there last year, lmao. And of course it's better than American ones. Touch screen ordering, healthier options, self-serve drinks, etc etc. And no, this is not an ad for Denny's. I WISH. I could use the sponsorship.

The santa death scene got me thinking, in the sequel tim Allan santa needs a wife to keep being santa right. But in this film he goes to north pole and there is no Mrs clause there. Did she just cease to be when santa fell of Tim Allan's roof?

jribs

This movie is the disgusting shit boy Olympics.

MarkNM

GULAG.

Jason

Mrs Claus, I got those nice fur lined coats you like, but they’re way in back of this alley. Way in the back. Keep going! All the way in the back!

Aaron

Good to know that Red One answered the question about Santa and chimneys.

Kureigu

Red one was a really good movie. The premise sounded ridiculous but the trailers did their job of making me want to see it and when I did it was great.

Dan sulin

So is the new movie where the kid accidentally writes a letter to Satan(played by Jack Black) gonna be in the worst of 2024 or do we got to wait out the ten year rule on that one?

Jamie

My last job was within a stone's throw of a Panera, and I loved that lemonade. I felt like I was really living on the edge, drinking a couple of those every week.

Barista Bran

I was a Panera sip club member when this episode aired and a daily charged lemonade drinker. Those drinks fucked me up more than any case of redbull ever could

Boombox Cowboy

The first dance at my wedding was to Sleeptight by The Creepshow which is about a woman haunting her boyfriend who killed her. It was completely intentional and no one knew but us.

Being reminded of the "elves with attitude" just makes me sad that the Artemis Fowl movie is lost media now because that would've made for a great episode much like this one.

Taco6N 13

The lady from the "Spank Me" hotline sounds like she's groaning like the news reporter that fell while squashing grapes.

Massey and Graham

Upon rewatch, Tim Allen looks a lot like Midwest Jerry Seinfeld. Can’t unsee it now

We Hate Movies

lol I was just thinking about that lady the other day! - Andrew

Brittany Mitchell

Listening to you guys describe Charlie's experience throughout this movie it sounds like he's being indoctrinated into a cult! 😂🤣😂

Nathalie 💘
