Howdy, y'all! Hope everyone had a solid weekend. It was a rainy one here in NYC so it was a great few days to catch up on movies! We've got a a week packed full of shows to help get you through to next weekend, so let's see what's coming up in the WHMu:

Tomorrow on WHM, we're finally getting around to talking about the Academy Award-nominated family drama, The Judge! Yes, we go into great length about that bathroom scene, so you won't wanna have that experience ruined by commercials. Catch this episode on here AD-FREE at the $8 level and up!

Then on Thursday, it's an all-new We ❤️ Movies where we're going long on another masterful performance from the late Gene Hackman as we chat about Francis Ford Coppola's outstanding paranoia drama, The Conversation! This one might be a mandatory check-out-the-film-before-listening title, but either way, you're going to come away from this episode really, really wanting to throw the film on again! You can catch this episode on here at the $5 level and up!

And then on Friday, we're cruising into the weekend with an outrageous edition of our Star Wars side show, the Gleep Glossary! This month, we're talking about everybody's favorite unfortunately-voiced gleep glop from The Phantom Menace, Nute Gunray! You can learn all about this fella on here at the $8 level and up!

And finally, just one last thing, while we didn't get to do a full series on it, let's just say that later on, on Friday afternoon, we'll be dropping a full season re-cap of a certain TV show without fear. Steve and Andrew will be on-hand to chit-chat about some of the best television of the year right here at the Top Tier $10 level!

And that's gonna do it for this week! We hope to see you all later today for On-Screen Live, at noon/eastern on our YouTube channel, where we'll be reviewing some new flicks, checking out the weekend's box office take, and, who knows, maybe even another Secret Movie™️ will get unearthed! If you can't make it live, check out the audio-only drop on the Free Feed Wednesday morning.

We hope your week is starting off in a kick-ass fashion and that things go nice and smooth for you as we all cruise toward the weekend! As always, we thank you all for being the amazing supporters you are!

Only just clocking that it's going to be double the Duvall this week

I'm about halfway through watching The Judge right now, and my god is it slow! I'm actually distracting myself with work, rather than the other way round.

What a release week!

Surprise Daredevil recap?? Oooh Heeeell yeeeah

Not to be ungrateful that we are getting a surprise bonus ep this week, but what "exactly" qualifies a Show to be eligible for "Too Old For This Shit". With X-Men '97 I thought it would be exclusively for Cartoons and then you did The Penguin, about which I'm not sure that it was made for children. Have not seen Daredevil: Born Again yet, but aren't you guys and many of your listeners like myself the exact target audience? Mid to late 30s Comic Geeks who are gonna say stuff like (imagine Stephen Sajdak saying it) "Oh my god, that's from that [insert whatever]!" Well, I guess X-Men '97 was that as well. Or is "based on a popular Comic IP" the framework here?

It's just a fun title for a recap show that has mostly centered on comic book stuff, it could apply to Star Wars or anything "fandom" related. I'd have no problem saying it - Steve

Duvall kinda looks like Guliani in that pic lol

Tim O'

I recently rewatched Metropolis (chef's kiss) and there's a character who reminded me of Andrew. It's the bearded guy who operates the Heart Machine. I think the character's name is Grot? In my head, his name was Andrew Jupin.

lol -- NOT the first time I've been compared to this long-dead man. - Andrew

Kuato (and the freedom brigade)

I bought this in order to watch it for this podcast. I'm trying to think of a pornography purchase that would be more shameful to admit to, and I can't 😂

Andrew Dean

So Cabin picked Nothing But Trouble, and also its secret legacy sequel apparently

I’m surprised that you didn’t mention that Vera Farmiga (b. 1973) is only thirteen years older than Leighton Meester (b. 1986). This has bugged me since I made the mistake of watching this movie.

Respectfully, you’re overthinking it. They cover stuff they find interesting. 2! 2! 2! 2! Just enjoy the ride.
