On this special Too Old For This Shit, Steve and Andrew are gaga for the latest MCU TV show, the most excellent Daredevil: Born Again! How great of a call was it to re-tool and make this show more like the incredible Netflix show? How absolutely fantastic is this cast, especially D’Onofrio and Cox back together again? Isn’t it wild that this was allowed to air at all? And jeez, we gotta wait a whole year for season two? PLUS: Bernthal! Bernthal! Bernthal! Bernthal!

So glad you all are tackling this! Based on Mr. Jupin's ravings, I sucked it up and dived into my first Marvel tv show in ages. And aside for cementing my distrust of cops, it's completely charmed me.

!!! I’m so happy you guys recorded this!! I agree with you how wild it is that Disney/Marvel Studios was cool with all this stuff happening, the entire run I was just shocked. I’m also excited to see Andor s2 start next week, I’m sure there’s gonna be a lot of too realistic stuff there, too. Maybe y’all will do a podcast episode or so about that? Been a while since you guys did a weekly Star Wars recap but I know y’all are booked & busy. Anyway WOWOWOW I am still shocked that they literally tore a man’s skull into pieces on camera this season of DDBA. WILD.

I’m surprised by how many people I see online who are mad about it or didn’t like it. I think it’s really good, even with some evidence of the rewrites/reshoots. It did feel like a good heir to the Netflix series.

Oh also if I remember right from my daredevil binge last year, there’s a mid or end credits scene of the season finale of s3 of Daredevil where they show Dex getting back surgery. It’s not vibration or adamantium in him but they’re doing something.

Vanessa's affair happens after the Echo tv series. Echo takes away Fisks pain and he becomes a mess so he leaves Vanessa while he's putting himself back together.

I’m so glad they didn’t have a room full of super hero’s at the end. Really kept the grounded nature of the show that I loved about the Netflix version.

Unfortunately when he said, "We need an army," my immediate response in my head was, "You have a She-Hulk." NOT saying they should have brought her in the finale, but MCU has conditioned me so. 😅

Okay I just finished the last episode and holy shit what Fisk did to the commissioner was unreal. How is that in a Disney plus MCU show WOW. as for the ending of series why would you leave Punisher alive? Dumb move on Kingpins part. Glad this show never lost the tone of the netflix version.
