Howdy, y'all! We've got a jam-packed week to kick off November's We ❤️ Movies Month, so let's dive in and see what all's happening in the WHMu this week:

First up later today, we'll be back on the air LIVE at noon/eastern on our YouTube channel (and Twitch) for the latest edition of On-Screen Live! We'll be looking over the weekend box office and, as always, chatting about recent films and tv shows we've taken in over the last few weeks. So, catch us later today at noon for the livestream, or check out the commercial feed on Wednesday morning for the audio-only release!

Then tomorrow, We ❤️ Movies Month kicks off in high style as we talk a blue streak about Alfred Hitchcock's peeping tom masterpiece, Rear Window! You can catch this episode, chock full of Jimmy Stewart impressions naturally, on here COMMERCIAL-FREE at the $8 tier & up!

And then on Thursday, we're dropping this month's Patrons-Only We Hate Movies episode on here. Every We ❤️ Movies Month, we always love to give the counter-programming WHM option to this episode slot, and this year our Patrons are the only ones who can hear us rag on the utterly abysmal family drama, The Book of Henry! This episode will be available to supporters at the $5 tier & up!

And that'll do it for this week, gang! We hope our lineup of shows can keep you distracted and entertained all week, until we all get to swing into the warm embrace of the weekend once again!

As always, we thank you all so much for continuing to be kick-ass Patreon supporters that you are!

Have a great week,

Andrew, Chris, Eric & SteveWe Hate Movies

All I know about the Book of Henry is...nothing. Why is he wearing lil' Ani Skywalker's podracing goggles?

Another WLM month, another Hitchcock banger. I like this tradition.

Sarah Montgomery

Oh, that's not even the strongest tie this movie has with Star Wars.

MarkNM

I still don't want to watch this, but your comment is giving me a bit of a nudge now.

Imagine making a movie so bonkers it gets you fired from a wholly separate film

Busiris

I do love this unspoken tradition of a Hitchcock movie at the start of every WLM month. Here's to hoping for an episode on Rope next year! 🤞

Book of Henry is a true "seeing is believing" movie. Looking forward to it getting burned by you guys.

Jessica

I am SO excited for Book of Henry. Excellent choice

I fondly remember the North by Northwest episode, with minutes on end of impressions of Cary Grant talking about eating ass

Personally, I think cinemas bringing classics back into theaters is a great idea. In Sept and Oct alone, I saw classics from Hitchcock, Kubrick, Carpenter, Hooper, Scorcese, Coppola, Welles (it's a long list...) for the very first time in a theater, as they were meant to be seen. Amazing. Yes, theater chains have other problems... but Regal actually seems to value their Unlimited members. Email their customer service, they actually listen and reply!

You are in for a treat then.
