Hey, what's this? A second Gleep Glossary entry in a month? You got that straight!

On this chapter of our Star Wars sideshow, we're learning all about the... what's that say? The BlasTech E-11 Blaster Rifle?! Oh, this is gonna be good. Just four guys, learning the history of a fake gun! How annoying must it be to wear a stormtrooper helmet? Is this gun less-cool than the sweet assassin's rifle that Andor uses? And is the ray gun featured on the cover of Foo Fighters' self-titled record appropriate for the Star Wars universe? PLUS: Horrifying tales of strangers passing kidney stones!

Gleep Glossary: A Star Wars Story is a show where the guys try to honor the history and legacy of Star Wars characters, most of whom we've been told don't matter anymore!

Thank you for being so incredible and continuing to support this weird, wild adventure we're on! You make this all possible! We know you have lots of options when choosing which pods you listen to and we very much appreciate you carving out some time for us!

Hell yeah E11/Sterling is such a good prop blaster. I still have a plastic one from the 90s that makes pew sounds and still works.

Eren Keskin

It would be more fitting if the Empire used the A280 instead, which was based on Nazi Germany's STG44.

Zora McBride

Two gleep glops in one month? What did we do to deserve this?! ... Oh yeah, it's 2025. we should have stormtroopers marching through the streets--the imperial march literally playing alongside them in one instance via an enterprising rebel--more often. I'm so excited to hear these as a double feature. Love you guys! Stay safe out there.

David Thompson

For fuck sake Steve, its the self titled debut that has the blaster on it...!

MarkNM

I thoroughly enjoyed the backdoor pilot for WE LOVE GUNS, and will be upgrading when the Heston tier rolls out.

MarkNM

My brother and I had the OG Stormtrooper rifle and Han Solo blaster, among dozens of other toys that I kick myself for not holding on to.

Robert Walton

I'm getting verklempt ... talk amongst yourselves ... here's a topic ... the BlasTech E11 Blaster Rifle is neither a Gleep nor a Glop

Patrick caddy

I've had kidney stones twice. Each time the dr will give you a cool little funnel to pass in. So it collects all the particular at the bottom so you can shift for gold

Felipe Sobreiro

Can't wait for the inevitable Gleep Glossary covering Yoda's walking stick

Barista Bran

Great blaster you can experience if you play Star Wars Battlefront 2

MarkNM

It's a "gimer stick" and I am ashamed of remembering that.

Felipe Sobreiro

FFS I was joking… but OF COURSE the stick has a name and back story

Justin Blackwood

Gotta love the top hat and funnel! I kept mine in a little plastic container, almost the size of a BB. Thank God for Flomax

MarkNM

"Sig Sauer? I barely know her!"

Jonathan

I had the Solo pistol as well, sadly i think i got played with to death lol.

Busiris

Two gleeps with the same glop!!

WarOfTheBees

I have watched men die and women give birth and they both screamed less than someone with a kidney stone.

James Richie

Hang on… Eric was crafting his own Boba Fett outfit? So… like a costume? Or… you weren’t trying to make armor…

John Harrison

If they get to the essential guide to vehicles I'm gonna pop.

We Hate Movies

Cheap basically cardboard but hey I had a Don Post helmet from the mall. Jealous? - Eric

James Richie

Fuck yeah I‘m jealous. Closest I got was a cardboard cutout C3PO head that was on the back of the Star Wars cereal box.

Kade Ballogg

Had this book taken away from me at elementary school lunch for imagery of guns

TayterTot

I had the Essential Guide to Droids, and the one for vehicles. My biggest regret was loaning it to a schoolmate, and they moved a few months later, so I never got them back.

Craig

Luke says in the original Star Wars “I can’t see a thing in this helmet”. So there’s confirmation of Steve’s theory that’s why they’re so inaccurate. Also: “man pearl” had me cackling.

Rose Esposito

Steve's story of his colleague's sweaty kidney stone battle is very Chair Company-coded, I feel. And I think of the Friends episode before Seinfeld, I admit. "Nothing is going 'up'! What's a urethra? (Monica whispers) Are you crazy?!?"

MANTE IV

I’ve passed a couple of kidney stones. You may be delighted to know the agony begins long before it reaches your urethra.

Alicia

“My body is (was) a roadmap of pain” is gonna be my epitaph 🪦
