Holy smokes, folks, it's time once again for WHM After Dark, our AMA-style chat show!

That's right, it's the show where YOU, the kick-ass TOP TIER Patreon supporter gets to hang with us and ask us questions!

On this month's WHMAD, we had a ball answering questions about how Chris ended up living in Germany for a fashion, which Star Trek celeb we'd love to have on a Trekmentary track, who was the better fake doctor: Dr. Challis from Halloween III or Dr. Michael Mancini on Melrose Place, movie moments that get us emotional, 2026 films that have exceeded our expectations and also ones that disappointed us, the best films we've taken a risk on checking out blind, and much, much more!

WHM After Dark is a chat show where we answer questions asked by YOU, the Patreon supporter! As always, we thank you all so much for being the totally awesome, TOP TIER supporters you continue to be, we wouldn't be able to do this without you all!

I am sure it has probably been said on some podcast somewhere, but I’ve always been curious why and how Chris ended up in Germany I’ll be listening to older episodes and sometimes I’ll hear him mention Germany and I’ve always been curious how you ended up there, Chris and why you’re not still there!?

Rose Esposito

How do you describe what your job is to Boomers/grampies/age-gap lovers/anyone who's not really familiar with the podcast world?

I love the phrase Andrew uses "not a dry eye in the house" when describing emotional moments in movies (the final father/son scene in About Time springs to mind). As someone who also gets emotional during movies, what are some of biggest misty-eyed moments you've had watching movies?

James

Any thoughts on the new Aaron Eckhart and Ben Kingsley shark movie “Deep Water” that was directed by Renny Harlin

James Sherlock

It seems like Chris and Eric are very close and Andrew and Steve are very close and I was wondering why that is. James from Staten Island

James Sherlock

Do you guys each have a celebrity voice you like to do more than the others - sherlock

I saw the trailer for Whalefall, a movie that looks even dumber than its premise. What is your favorite movie with an absolutely dog shit premise?

Mike Condron

So far in 2026, what movie most exceeded your expectations and what movie disappointed you the most?

Leighton Pritchard

I'm thinking back to an earlier internet era when film trailers weren't dropped on social media as openly as they are now - Do any of you guys have any examples or memories of movie trailer/teaser leaks for a majorly hyped movie that you scoured the internet to find and watch?

Lisa

I was listening to the Jurassic Park episode again in honor of Sam Neil ☹️ but Andrew mentioned that the show Parks and Recreation was problematic and I was wondering why he thought that? I still watch am I missing something?

Jason

You’ve been given the power to remove a tired movie cliche or overused trope from existence, Thanos blip style. Which one do you choose?

Brandon Taper

To celebrate your upcoming Las Vegas shows: What is a "film gamble" that paid off for you? Any movies you took a chance on after stumbling upon or tiptoeing around for years or maybe revisiting after an initial dislike?

Jessica M

How do you feel about outdoor screenings of movies? Any memorable experiences?

Jaimey

ever had a “too high at the movies” moment? thanks guys, love the show! :-)

Suggestion inspired by Cabin talking about his love of Clear & Present Danger in the last Big Daddy Dispatch - How about a Tom Clancy month where you do all of the Jack Ryan movies? Hunt For Red October, Patriot Games, Clear & Present Danger, Sum of All Fears, and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit? Although I think it'd be tough to pick between Red October and Clear & Present for the WLM.

Max Juke

Who was the best Rocky opponent?

Captain Schitt-Stain

What Coen Brothers main cast character do each of you relate to the most?

Ryan Horn

Always been interested in what each of your roles are behind the scenes. Editing, posting, booking the tours, episode decisions, accounting, etc.

I cried at least 4 times during Project Hail Mary. My husband and I just watched it the other night. It didn’t help that we put our dog of 13 years down just 3 weeks ago. It was just too much.
