On this edition of our Star Wars Gleep Glossary, we're learning all about the hyper-successful, POS space criminal, Prince Xizor!

Born into a wealthy family on Falleen, Xizor would eventually work his way up to being the third most powerful person in the galaxy! He was a dude who lived over a century, but never looked a day over thirty, apparently. He founded Xizor Transportation Systems, which wound up getting him work with the Black Sun crime syndicate, who ultimately made him their leader. He also had it out for Vader, ever since Vader killed like 200 million of Xizor's Falleen people. And he definitely acted like a total scum bag with Princess Leia once as well, but Leia got the best of him, for sure. PLUS: What was he doing with that lifelike droid?

Gleep Glossary: A Star Wars Story is a show where the guys try to honor the history and legacy of Star Wars characters, most of whom we've been told don't matter anymore!

Thank you for being so incredible and continuing to support this weird, wild adventure we're on! You make this all possible! We know you have lots of options when choosing which pods you listen to and we very much appreciate you carving out some time for us!

YES!! I wanna re-read Shadows before checking this one out, but always down for a new gleep glossary! here's hoping we get a new HOTJH ere long!

I picture Frasier and Niles sitting behind Palpatine and Anakin during that opera scene, eyeing each other indignantly about who will tell them to quiet down. Later arguing with each other about whether they should expose the Chancellor as being a butcher…. of both opera decorum and pronunciation of Plagueis As a certified Scrambled Egg, I watched the first season of the Frasier reboot and found it quite funny. The soulless modern sitcom feel is tough to ignore though. But Nicholas Lyndhurst is hilarious, and Grammer is obviously great as Frasier albeit a total piece of shit

WarOfTheBees

Diving in right now. This better be horny.

Dan sulin

The microscopic cells responsible for Xizor pheromones are called midicosbians

I.C. Weiner

I'm so glad Eric is playing Zero Company, that game rocks! Also, to avoid the Sentinels I hope Eric does a cover of that Beetles song

Jason

The Xizor Sisters make really good indie Jizz music though

TJ Gaines

Man, I really want the WHM crew to now to a side show of rewatching “Cheers” and Fraiser” like Melro210 now!

Matt

Play the Beatles song backwards to avoid lawyers and accidently summon the ghost of John Lennon

Smaug

Jango sound effects every ep, if you please. Excellent work finding that one, Mr Eric. Also if you're googling, throw in "-ai" at the end to get rid of the overview.

Going off the picture from the novel cover, I always thought Xizor gave Michael Ironside vibes, which would have been cool casting but bad casting. Edit: Guri as a functional fuckbot IS mentioned in the book, and it's implied that Xizor sometimes plugged in when he didn't have time to dig for new strange.

Mark D Myers

I thought for sure the song Eric was going to play was 17 by winger.

Billie Jackson

Russians in Star Wars sounds like something that would have resulted from the canceled American Graffiti crossover novel trilogy. Speaking of odd crossovers, am wondering Eric and the other guys thoughts on the upcoming Star Wars Marvel Universe crossover.

Rose Esposito

The Beatles estate (? whatever you call it) was very happy to license its music to this fan-favorite shide show -- but then they heard the shocking "Yesterday" episode and revoked it. FOR SHAME

We Hate Movies

If there were more time in the month, I'd do it in a heartbeat and I'd call the show "Tossed Salad and Scrambled Beers" - Andrew

MarkNM

This is underrated.

Todd B

I'm sorry, I have to say it - THEY ARE VIGOS! MAUL IS LIKE THE BUZZING OF FLIES TO THEM!

johnny stocker

Yeah, the first thing I'm doing after this episode ends is to google that Zach Braff cop movie trailer because what the hell?

Jessica M

Guaranteed no one cares that you're playing that for sure.

TJ Gaines

“I. AM. WOUNDED!”

nadia

i said “What the FUCK?” aloud in my car to no one when he started talking about that show, i can’t believe i hadn’t heard of it!

I.C. Weiner

I just watched it and I have so many thoughts, but the .2 seconds at the end of the trailer where we see him running made the entire endeavor worth it. Eric really should have kept watching

Billie Jackson

Or it's equivalent song by Warrant, though technically that one doesn't mention a specific age.

Matt Jew

Eeeeeeeagle!!!!!
