It's the super-sized, October edition of our sexy, SoCal-set TV recap show, MELR0210 and on this month's episode, all these freaks are right at home during our Halloween Spooktacular!

First up, on Beverly Hills, 90210, it's the infuriating episode, "Twenty Years Ago Today"! Originally airing on the beloved FOX Network on October 27, 1993, this episode is mostly centered around Jim and Cindy's party they're throwing for their 20th wedding anniversary! Along the way, we've got Mel Silver dumping baby Erin on David so he can shoot down to Cabo for a sexy weekend away, Brandon flirting with an older woman at the gym, Dylan's gun fetish almost reaching deadly new heights after Brandon stupidly breaks into his house, Kelly still trying to dodge John Sears's invitation to a Steely Dan concert, Andrea starting to doubt her relationship with Dead Fish Dan Rubin, Stuart proposing to Brenda at the anniversary party, and Grandma Walsh spoiling her son and daughter-in-law's big night by announcing her granddaughter's engagement like a total psycho!

Then, across town on Melrose Place, it's the place-setting, but still outrageous episode, "To Live and die in Malibu," which first aired on March 20, 1995. We're setting up for larger pay-offs with this episode, but here we've got Kimberly finally fed up with Michael's shenanigans with Amanda and taking this cat-and-mouse game to the next level, Brooke showing her psycho chops early while she hits on Billy at her father's mansion house, Jake's brother coming to town and weaseling his way into working at Shooters, and Alison becoming a total monster overnight as she transforms into the new Amanda at D&D by treating her employees, including Jo, like total crap!

MELR0210 is a WHM podcast where the guys blissfully stroll through the Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place timelines. The episodes covered will run in broadcast order unless otherwise specified.

Thanks so much for continuing to support the WHM Patreon! We know you have a lot of options when it comes to podcast entertainment and we're grateful you chose to spend some time with us. You're way cooler than Dylan McKay!

This show was the reason I joined the Patreon ❤️ (Not the only reason, but the one that pushed me over the edge.)

Whoops! Looks like I messed up the release date for this one and it dropped today along with the WLM! Welp, enjoy! Here’s to pretending it’s Friday a day early! - Andrew

In the scene where he's talking to Dina Meyer at the cafe this former smoker clearly spotted a pack of Marlboro's in Jason Priestley's shirt pocket. That's a naughty, naughty boy Brandon!

Been waiting YEARS to hear the moment y’all discovered Cindy’s maiden name 😄

Finally...I have been waiting for five years for Dina Meyer to show up on 90210. If you're watching along...buckle the fuck up

Oh, I will be SEATED for November 1963. (Having read all 700+ pages of "Not in Your Lifetime: The Defining Book on the J.F.K. Assassination" earlier this year...yeah, the mob probably did it. Maybe not, but...probably.)

All this Mama Celeste talk on the exact day that they announced they're discontinuing it. *starts hanging up thumbtacks and red thread*

I tried the "Here pussy pussy" line on my wife last night.

For me, Perry King will always be the star of Riptide. Which was an absolutely bananas TV series in the mid-80s about some detectives who lived on a boat and also had a Corvette, a giant pink helicopter, and a robot. (Or rowbutt if you prefer.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wvHSbwkWRo Funny WHM/Riptide connection - Thom Bray was on Riptide, and he was also the nerd who somehow manages to have sex in a basement and NOT get killed in The Prowler which the guys discussed in their commentary. (He is also in Carpenter's Prince of Darkness where he isn't so lucky.)
