OoooooOooooOooooooo Happy All Hallow's Week, folks! We hope y'all are as super-stoked as we are that Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, cuz holy moly this is gonna be a rad handful of days! The Spooktacular ain't over yet, so let's see what all's left to drop in the WHMu this week:

Tomorrow on WHM, we're bringing the 2026 Halloween Spooktacular to a close as we welcome back our buds, James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca from Dead Meat to continue our storied tradition of going through the Leprechaun franchise together! This year, we're up to the sixth entry, a DTV film with a few laughs here and there, Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha' Hood! This one has its moments, but boy howdy, this franchise is on fumes! Hear us cackle all the way through our breakdown right here, commercial-free, at the $8 tier & up!

And that very same night, Tuesday at 8pm/eastern, it's another edition of our AMA-style chat show, WHM After Dark! We'll be on hand LIVE, vibing and imbibing as we answer your questions on the air! This is always one of the highlights of our month, we love getting to chat and joke around with all you fine folk for that precious hour! Be on the lookout for the After Dark post to go live later this afternoon so you can get your questions posted to the comment thread! You can always of course roll the dice and ask the question live in the chat that night also! And hey, since it's the Shocktober edition of the show, feel free to tailor your questions to have a Halloween-themed bend!

On Wednesday, we've got one more horror-related piece of content to share, and that of course is the fifth volume of our modern horror chat show, Scaredy Cats! For this edition, all those super-rad Craven Tier supporters selected Osgood Perkins's FBI thriller/Satanic chiller, Longlegs to be the topic of conversation! The Cage impressions are coming fast and furious on this one, and we had a fantastic time not only revisiting the film itself, but breaking it down for you all! You can get in on the fun on here at the Craven Tier! And a note to all Craven Tier subscribers, be sure to look out for the Scaredy Cats Poll that will post on here a day or so after this episode drops—you don't want to forget to help us select the next one, volume VI will be here before you know it!

And finally on Thursday, while not exactly horror related, we're closing out the month with another trip into sci-fi territory as we drop the next episode of our Star Trek recap show, The Nexus! We'll be covering the final TOSTAS episode, "The Counterclock Incident," as well as the TNG episode, "New Ground," which features the return of, sigh, Worf's son, Alexander! You can get in on all the Trek fun on here at the $8 tier & up!

And that'll be all the pod that's fit to spit this week, folks! We hope all the shows and streams released over the next few days provide some much-needed laughs and distraction as we work toward this super-exciting Halloweekend we have coming up!

As always, we thank you all so much for your continued support on this wild adventure in the WHMu, we couldn't do it without you!

Have a great week and Happy (and Safe) Halloween!

Was worried the Leprechaun episode wasn’t gonna happen this year. Dead Meat has been busy as hell!!

I just realized today that the mailbag and on screen eps don't show up in the Patreon feed. I gotta go re-sub the free feed Im missing out on crucial shit!

Craig

Waited with bated breath on what comes next for The Nexus (but am really hoping for DS9 and more Quark/Odo/Sisko impressions)

Can’t wait for more Leprechaun with Dead Meat! Side note , what’s with Star Trek and little kids? I re-watched a couple of Voyagers with Naomi Wildman recently and while she’s not as annoying as Alexander I really don’t understand what the creators thought the appeal was.

I finally upgraded my membership, mainly because I want to hear these guys talk about Nic Cage in Longlegs. I can already hear their impressions of his voice. 😁

Robert

Love Dead Meat. I never would have found out about WHM without their Slenderman episode, which is an all-timer

same, omg I really really hope they do DS9, I need to see Odo and Quark's homoerotic banter re-enacted frequently

Craig

“I was inside you, Quark. What do you think about that?” from one of the LRMs still cracks me up
