On this episode of The Mandalorian Half-Hour, the gang is chatting about the second installment of the all-new Star Wars series, The Mandalorian! In "Chapter 2: The Child," the guys marvel at all the hilarious Jawa comedy, laugh at all the totally great Nick Nolte Ugnaught stuff, and seriously contemplate what that egg tastes like! PLUS: Fans  of Lone Wolf and Cub, strap in!

The Mandalorian Half-Hour is a WHM side show where the guys cover every episode of the new Disney+ series, The Mandalorian! Thank you for continuing to be a loyal Patreon subscriber. We couldn't do this without you!

Oh, and please excuse the slight wonky nature of the audio; we're still wrapping our heads around the logistics of remote records—the only way we could find time in our production schedule to create this show!

Cover art by the endlessly talented Felipe Sobreiro!

Ox Man

Is there one for the first episode?

Andrew Walker

First episode is on the main feed. This episode is on the Patron RSS feed, but doesn’t seem to have a link to play from Patreon itself

Zane Magers

Andrew Walker

Try refreshing your feed? It is on Apple Podcast, not sure about other podcatchers

Guy Wilson

There's no download link for the episode edit: never mind, it's there now. Move along, move along

Audio is mostly fine but sometimes there's a lag between conversations. Noticed it mostly when Erick spoke. Don't know if you can do much about that except experiment with different services/software. Cabin sounded a bit muffled also. Just minor issues.

Andrew Dean

Someone’s using speakers - got that feedback going on

Andrew Dean

Did you really think they were just eating the egg? I got the impression they were getting effed up on it

Dan sulin

So much WHM content in just a few short days!!! You guys rock!

Andrew Dean

Robert Ballard

Still not finding the first Mandalorian ep. on either the main feed or the Patreon feed. Feeling sad now...

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about with The Clone Wars, outside of the first season, it really looks great especially season 4-6. The show is an anthology and the story arcs are self-contained. The episodes that deal with the Mandalorians are: The Mandalore Arc: S2. Episodes 12-14 The Shadow Empire Arc S4. Episodes 14, 21, and 22 S5. Episodes 1, 15, 16, and 17 The Siege of Mandalore/Order 66 Arc: S7. 11 and 12 (Finale) this will be airing on disney plus in the future, but has been mentioned in other media like Rebels. I really really don't like the prequels but I really enjoy alot of this show.

Dangmo

Nary one mention of climbing the sand crawler I’m Super Star Wars. F minus.

We Hate Movies

This hurts my feelings because I was thinking of Super Star Wars (incredible game, tbh) THAT ENTIRE SEQUENCE. How could I have not mentioned it?! - Steve

Andrew Burt

Clone Wars has its ups and downs, but it really goes a long way toward making Anakin Skywalker a sympathetic character and establishing a legitimate friendship between Anakin and Obi-Wan. This alone makes it a superior alternative to the prequels.

Clifton Jewett

I saw a Mandalorian Chapter 1 episode, right? Anyone gotta link to Chapter 1?

jovanni martinez

I'm pretty sure nick nolte's character is another actor wearing a costume and he's just doing the voice over

Kristian James Chayer

In my personal canon, The Egg was definitely some type of hallucinogenic drug. That's why they were so excited, they were about to trip balls.
