Andrew (and other dispatch daddies that have thoughts on this topic) I’m really close to pulling the trigger on a uhd region free bluray player. What UHD discs do you have that are the absolute stunners? I know how good The Shining one is because I saw the 4k scan in a theater in 2019 and it blew my mind.

Why haven't you done Surf Ninjas yet? I've asked multiple times for years now. Just get it over with already.

Hi guys! If you could bring back a deceased filmmaker to make one more movie, who would it be? Maybe an obvious choice, but mine would definitely be Kubrick. Thanks! Clint in Minnesota

In light of the Snyder Cut being eleven years long and so bad it’s amazing in parts — what’s the worst thing you’ve had the most fun watching? John from Chicago

Ben Ryerson

Have you ever watched Shoot to Kill from 1988? Let me set the scene: sexaphone (so much sexaphone), Sidney Poitier yells at a bear, Tom Berenger rides a horse, Kirstie Alley: Experienced Woodsman, multiple dummies falling off a cliff, Clancy Brown, hiking. It. Is. Magical. Ben from Atlanta

Justin Porter

Love the amazing content! What movie or show was it that sealed the deal and made you decide this was the industry you wanted to be involved in? Justin from Windsor Ontario, Canada

With all the chaos of the Snyder Cut, if you were given a choice for a similar Director Cut of this scope, not just a typical directors cut, what movie would you pick? Bobby from Roanoke

Jared Shopa

My ongoing project during *all the nonsense* has been each week to watch one movie covered in the podcast and listen to the episode, with the help of some medical-grade hash (legal here in Canada). So far I've watched all the way up to Gymkata. Best has been Halloween III, worst without question is Wired. What are your top tall glass of water picks in terms of movies covered on the main feed? -j. from Vancouver Island

Dan Thompson

Do any of you have peculiar or specific media organization methods à la John Cusack in High Fidelity? -Dan from Montana

Thomas Rice

Hello gang! I’ve been meaning to broaden my horizons for the longest time now, and I was wondering what are some classic action/drama films that a fledgling film buff MUST see. I need something else to watch besides cartoons and superhero flicks. Thanks in advance! Wungavu from Philadelphia, PA

What is one movie (past or upcoming) that you would love to have as your first theatrical experience, once you can return to the theater? - Cory from Seattle, WA

Have you heard a piece of misinformation from a movie that you thought was true? Like, "Dogs can't look up" from Shaun of the Dead or, "We only use 10% of our brains" from Limitless or, "It's a good idea to split The Hobbit story into three films" from the New Line producers. -Drew from Gaithersburg, MD

Fardeen Chowdhury

Which movie production would you want to witness the entire process for, pre to post production? You can't effect any change necessarily to how the movie turns out, but you can just be a silent observer throughout the production. - Fardeen from Greenfield, MA

colony of birchmen

I'm curious, Clint - what movie would you want Kubrick to do? I'm kinda curious what his version of AI would've looked like.

colony of birchmen

I remember seeing a trailer for the movie The Beaver with Mel Gibson and they used a Frightened Rabbit song. I didn't want Gibson's stank on my favorite rock band.

NFlux Forever

Has there ever been a movie where any combination of the four of you vehemently disagreed on, Siskel and Ebert style? - Justine from Youngstown, OH

Clint Chirpich

Drew - I've read several interviews stating that Spielberg's AI was very faithful to Kubrick's original plans. I don't think Kubrick's version would be noticeably different from what we saw. If I had to pick a project that Kubrick actually worked on, it would be his Napoleon bio-pic. The amount of time and energy he spent on that was astounding and I'm sure it would have been fantastic. I'd be happy with just about anything, though, and think that he would thrive with all the new technology. He'd probably be much more efficient shooting on digital, if nothing else.

Jean-Marie David

Which remake movie do you feel improved the most from the original version? - Jay from Ottawa

HappyNoLucky

Whom or what would I need to kill and/or fuck for you to start a Batman: TAS podcast? Your AD episode was a taste of something I can’t seem to kick without methadone. My “friend” calls me monkey-knuckles, so you can too.

Michi G

Despite all the subpar movies you've seen, you guys often say some could have been something if better cast or staffed. What's a badly executed movie that would actually benefit from a remake, instead of all those ones made to cash in on our nostalgia? And any thoughts who'd be the lead cast and direct it? Kristen from Charleston

Christian Gavey

I ask this. But, I'm pretty sure who would win. But I look forward to your answers and possible funny comments.

Now that HBO Max has had an unlikely success with Zack Snyder’s Justice League, what other movies would you welcome or fear getting a Snyder recut? I’d personally like to see what he’d do with Mike Myers’ Cat in the Hat. I doubt he could make it any worse, and the Cat might get shanked at the end. Brew from Florida

P.S. Munson

For me that's a toss-up between Carpenter's "The Thing" and Cronenberg's "The Fly" - two of the best horror/suspense films of the 80s, if not all time.

P.S. Munson

Bruce Willis in The Jackal with his list of rotating hairpieces.
