Nicole Stuart

Guys, what do you consider to be the best “date” movie and why? Any personal date movies stories you’d like to share?

Neekko

What is a movie that you thought you had hallucinated as a kid, only to discover that it is real as an adult? Jensen from Seattle

Jeremy Caesar

What are the odds that for next year’s Spooktacular we get an episode on Rob Zombie’s Hellbilly Halloween remake? Eric’s hatred vs. Chris and Steve’s love for H2 would make a great episode. Jeremy from Ohio

Terence Wiggins

Did your parents taste in media influence what you like now or did you all just go out on your own and find your own media? Terence from Norfolk, VA

Hey Guys! What do you each of you consider to be the most "New York" movie you have ever seen? Thank you for all the laughs. Ben from Poughkeepsie

Cory Skaaren

What movies from the last 10 years will we be celebrating in 20 years? Cory from Phoenix

Gino Volpe

Heya folks. Newish listener as of 2022. I work for a post production company based in NYC and its been a blast listening to the gang talk shop about film, some of which include projects I've worked on (Halloween Ends, big whoof). I've heard everyone describe previous professions -working theaters, Marvel Comics and Showtime- but I wanted to know if y'all had worked in production/post production in film. If so, have you found working in a distribution or production capacity have given you a greater understanding of the medium when it comes to comedic material or critical analysis? - Gino from Riverdale (formerly Staten Island).

As we are now firmly in Autumn - are they any movies you associate with a season (autumn or otherwise) or a time of the year? For example - when November rolls around - I always get an itch to watch The Fisher King or the Sonnenfeld Addams Family Movies, mostly because of my association between those and this time of year. You have anything like that? - Chris from Chicago

Jason

In recognition of Steve’s recent European Vacation, what is your favourite film set in a locale—exotic or otherwise—that you have visited? Jason, from The Bronx.

Parry Weare

Hey WHMers, Halloween and Christmas seem to have the movie market wrapped up. What holiday do you think is under represented in film? Parry from Laindon (UK)

Clarity Morrison

Clarity, from NJ (She/They) here; let's take a break from movies for a second. What's your go-to at a diner? Mine's a french dip!

Loving the amount of Ohio residents posting here! I got a little inspired by the Pumpkinhead episode, so here's My mailbag question, if you had the opportunity to spend a day with any horror/slasher/monster icon (Freddy, Jason, Chucky, Dracula, ect...) with the knowledge that they would be friendly and wouldn't kill you. Who would you pick and what would you spend the day doing/talking with them be? I think the Martians from Mars attacks would be neat but I think I would want to Hang out with the The Wishmaster himself for a day. As long as he didn't try to screw me over with bad end wishes. Jim from Wilmington, OH

Dawn Elicia

My question would be how you guys got started. I’ve been listening for at least 8 years and I’ve heard pieces of how everyone met and who lived together and how everyone attended Purchase. I am sure some of your new listeners would like to know how the discussion of starting this podcast came about. What made you decide to do bad movies. Dawn Elicia from Las Vegas, NV

Colby Dow

What movies have undergone the biggest reevaluation from first to second watch for you guys? I didn’t love The Big Lebowski the first time I watched it but something clicked the second time and I “got it.” Colby from Alabama.

Francis

Does the gang have any spooky or ghostly encounters to share? Francis from Pittsburgh

K

Did you ever have a movie that you would fall asleep watching as a kid? One you put on to comfort you into slumber? Kevin from Seattle

Sounds Awesome Podcast Network

I host 2 podcasts and engineer 4 others so I don’t listen too many podcasts, because who wants to eat where they work, WHM being a major exception. What podcasts can you still stomach in between recordings? Desmond from Berkeley

Sounds Awesome Podcast Network

I walked out of The Big Lebowski, and now I TOTALLY get it. I was in an action movie phase and they just kept fucking talkin’.

Nena Aguilar

Currently watching The Dark Crystal, and wondering if you guys have ever discussed doing this one for an episode or would you? Nena from Gaylord, MI

Sima

Is there a horror movie you have watched numerous times but for some reason, the latest re-watch made you unable to sleep at night? Sima from Singapore

Jeff Schell

You guys rock and this is the only podcast I listen to. I know it's not Listener Request Month, so I won't request a specific movie, but some of my favorite episodes are where one of you labels it as a "seeing-is-believing." Would love to get a few of those episodes coming up but while we're on the subject, what are your top seeing-is-believing movies?!?!?

Craig

I second this one, though for me it was just trailers I saw on TV. Turns out the ad for Wes Craven’s Deadly Blessing wasn’t just a nightmare I had but an actual movie (the spider freaked me out)!

Brad Purcell

Who do you believe has served their time in movie jail and should be given another shot? Brad from Quincy, Mass

Nitesco

Are you more critical of a movie if it makes you feel like you wasted your time? For example: I would never call Caligula a "good" film, yet I've found that I'm far harsher towards films where I think my time is wasted, so I would also say that I still enjoyed witnessing the insanity of Caligula for the first time myself. Al from NY
