Hi gang. Due to time constraints, I find myself not being able to sit through a full movie in one sitting recently. Then, when I have time I often can't be arsed to watch the rest. Are there any movies stuck on your "continue watching" section of Netflix that you simply can't be arsed to complete? Mark from the UK

I've been listening to a lot of previous episodes and noticed that a can of soda or beer is being opened during the recording. It doesn't bother me one bit. Is there a background story for this or is someone forgetting to open it before the show starts?

Craig

You seem to have a lot of listeners these days outside the US. Which country outside the US has the largest audience (and would you ever tour there)? (Greetings from Australia)

Dear WHM fellows, I am a WHM completionist, but this is my first time writing. My wife is from the Philippines, and she would have to work very hard to see a movie when she was growing up. There was one house in her village with a TV and VCR, and they charged admission to sit on a rice bag and watch a movie on their TV. To buy her ticket, she would walk through the muddy rice fields picking up individual grains of rice that were missed during the harvest. She would put the loose grains in a bucket, and once she had a kilo (2.2 lbs) that was enough to buy a seat on the floor so she could see one of the movies they were playing that day. The films they had in rotation were Starship Troopers, Home Alone, and Die Hard. It was only after she visited the USA and saw the regrettable "Zombeavers" that she said, now I finally understand what a bad movie is. Have you guys ever had to work very hard or go to extreme lengths to see a film? Was it worth it? Best Wishes, Patrick in Leyte, Philippines (pronounced Lay-tay)

I recently had a conversation with my brother about our respective "innocence lost" moments: when we realized, as kids, that movies could be bad. Theirs was 17 Again; mine was Evan Almighty. Do you remember an early "bad movie" experience? Luke in Los Angeles
