Lets go!! But before I start this. Denise, are you o.k.? This one is a rough one. It's so good, but a lot of tragic things happen.

This trilogy is so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time!! I really have enjoyed going through this beautiful journey with you guys!!

The Media Knights

This really was a rough watch but such an amazing way to end this trilogy!

The Media Knights

Agree with everything you said! This was able to wrap up all the themes from the previous two films in such a beautiful way. The conflict itself is a combination of both the previous films but the stakes are much higher. We absolutely loved Caesar's character and his evolution. We'll definitely miss him moving forward 😕

The Media Knights

These films are surprisingly deep! So many incredible themes and they do such a great job with how they deliver the message. Thank you for watching these alongside us ❤️

I agree with everything you said, I did not expect to be that deep when I watched the first one but after watching the first one I was hooked, and then they did even better job with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and they did it again with the last one 😊 I am really curious about the new one it really has like Denise has said "Big Shoes to fill"

It hit me harder on the rewatch that I thought. Cesar losing his wife and his child....I normally don't talk about this a lot but we had a daughter pass away at the age of 13. Cesar talking about losing his family, seeing them after they were attacked, just really hit. The emotions in this movie are just so well thought out and executed. Great way to wrap up the story of Cesar.

I signed up just to see your reaction to this trilogy, I love your guys take on things especially your film analysis take, this is my fav trilogy of all time, I have no idea if number 4 can live up to it without Ceasr

Kash

I love how it blends genres, at times feels like a western! and a mystery, post apoc zombie horror, action, fantasy, it's insane Matt reeves is now my fav living director. Most of all I love how it doesn't spoon feed you and takes its time and even withholds a lot from the audience until much later. The way the first meeting with Nova was done, I've never seen anything like that except in avant-garde films. which is awesome, it's hard to put into words why some of the slow parts in this movie work so well and are not boring, there's a magic to them. They're like mini short movies. Learn alot about film making just re watching these! thanks for the awesome content!

Kash

same, one thing I keep hearing about this trilogy, is that it starts off amazing and the next one tops the previous. I have to say, I agree with that feeling too.

Kash

I also learned alot when you both point things out so it's kinda like going to film school, which I really appreciate and enjoy, I'm gonna shut up now cos I have way too many nice things to say about this movie and you guys! also you guys are doing awesome work! thanks again! and keep up the good work and please don't burn yourselves out!

Chase Gardner

One of my favorite trilogies in Andy serkis planet of the apes trilogy I highly recommend how to train your dragon trilogy For a Matt reeves movie I highly recommend the Batman (2022) if you haven't seen it already

Nya

Agreed! I think they’ll absolutely love the httyd trilogy. My top favorite trilogy ever 🙏🏾

Mister Lou

The Colonel, Woody's character, I feel at the end, although he couldn't talk, he felt like: yes, I'm dumbed down a bit, but not enough to be sacrificed over. Therefore realizing that he ended his own son's life for nothing, essentially, that's when he wanted Caesar to finish him off. and I feel like Caesar did the RIGHT thing, by not only letting him do it himself. but watching without blinking and making sure he did.. but that's just my interpretation. Great job as always, guys!
