danzogonzo

I still love you guys 😘 but huh 🙃

The Media Knights

lol Dune Part 1 came long before the channel, we watched that one in the theater.

danzogonzo

I see the word Masterpiece thrown around a lot for this film, idk about that that's a strong word The Godfather is a Masterpiece, I do believe the visuals are stunning or so I've heard and I think that's why people use the word Masterpiece but a film has to give me more for me to throw that Word out there lol let's see if the actual story they're telling is engaging 😁 Im excited for Austin Butler and Florence Pugh I ship them so hard in real life lol I want them to do a Rom Com or action film together at some point 🙏Edit: just watched it and I definitely enjoyed it more then the first one! Would have loved to see it in IMAX surround sound cinematic experience! It's better then the first one imo, I wanted more of Florence Pugh lol Timothee Zendaya they all brought it 👍I still wouldn't give it the word Masterpiece but it was very well done for what it was supposed to be 🙏

danzogonzo

My bad playboy 🤣 I was faded last night 🤣 I apologize 🤣

Mike

lol I've never seen either... I kinda want to watch this one with ya'll, but it'll be weird not having seen part 1.

danzogonzo

Part 1 is great and I suggest you watch it first. Part 2 is going to be much better if you are in the loop 🫡💯

JRCortez

Going to be a long wait for this one. Rent or buy starting at $25 😲😲😲💸💸💸…..

Your reaction is finally here 🤗😁 Bene Gesserit is the true villain of this story. They created the Kwisatz Haderach so they could use him, and now it's out of their control. Well, kind of... Unfortunately, Paul didn't have much of a choice, the jihad was inevitable. I hope Denis Villeneuve follows the original story, if he does, we will understand Paul's actions in the third movie. I personally love the character of Paul Atreides, it's so tragic and sad and powerful at the same time. Prophecies are tricky. It's not about who made the prophecy, is more about what is the cost for "green paradise". It's not everyday we have stories like this and in an Era where cinema is dying, this film is hope. ❤️

Whenever I see a Dune 2 reaction: "Yay, you're watching this at home!" followed by sadness "oh noo, you're watching this at home..."

Joey Cintron

My guy this movie and the first part were both a Masterpiece in filmaking. I think this movie is up there in the higher echelon of movies. The scene when Paul first rode the giant sandworm had me at the edge of my seat. The final battle with Fayd Routha was so intense!!! I have always loved Dune, from the book, to the 80's movie, to these remakes. Its an amazing Sci Fi world.

This just in: Padishah Emperor demands more cowbell

The Media Knights

We also thought this was better than the first one. The first one was all about the world building so it did have a much more difficult task. This time around they had fun exploring and could just delve into storytelling. The sound in this film is phenomenal! Glad it's getting the appreciation it deserves!

The Media Knights

Whenever you do decide to rent or buy we hope you have a fun experience!

The Media Knights

Love the themes in this film! How the Bene Gesserit are controlling everything like puppet masters from the shadows is terrifying. It's always great to have stories and movies we can look forward to. The next one has some pretty big shoes to fill!

The Media Knights

Great performances, great visual and an amazing score. This is what it's all about! Can't wait for the next one!

Cai Cheng

Another amazing reaction video! I love your attention to detail and how much you appreciate the different aspects of the movie. I guess you probably saw Dune 1 in theatre, but any chance you would consider rewatching it and doing a reaction video for it? I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your commentary I’d still watch it even though it’s not your first time watching ❤

Alina

This movie really is an amazing experience. Loved your commentary as always! Also, both Sicario and Arrival are great great choices, can't wait to see those reactions someday!

camilla

Yesss! I second that!! Crossing my fingers that they have the time to do it :D

Mister Lou

I like how Paul would ask how his sister's doing and his mom would give an answer that seemed like: "Well I feel fine, so I suppose she is too." That's how I read between the line, "She was scared, but now she's calmed down" idk I'm paraphrasing. BUT after she drank the Water of Life, she acted as a voice for her unborn child. and it very much seemed like she was crazy until Paul also drank, and talked with his future sister (which btw I was wondering when the hell ATJ was going to come into this?) Also kuddos to Dave Batista for taking on such a roll, because he always exuded such an alpha male vibe, and in this movie he ran from a fight, kissed a boot and died fast, last movie he didn't get to do much either... hmm come to think of it? he dies often... is he trying to take over Sean Bean's rep?

Brakthir

Paul's rise and fall was probably a huge inspiration and poorly done copy by Lucas for Anakin.

Raven Dark

Do you guys have the first one on here? I scoured the channel, and can't find it anywhere.

Victoria Bert

Oh I would love to get your thoughts on D1… I read below you saw it in the theaters….maybe you will rewatch !?!

Kyutoko

Hans Zimmer knows exactly when to and NOT to use the score. The sound design team knew just when we needed a score and when we did NOT. It makes the serious moments hit so much harder when you notice the lack of music.

Giedi Prime has a black sun, it's only Infrared, so that's why there is no color outdoors.

Emperor Walken landing his ship just looks like a giant Pokeball and I CANNOT stop giggling about it.

Kyutoko

Paul didn't burn the army. Remember when Baron Harkonnen said "the mountains will protect us from most of it"? Paul just removed the mountains. The scene where Feyd stabs Paul, do you recall his vision when he drank the Water of Life? He knew it was coming.
