GODZILLA MINUS ONE (2023) FULL LENGTH MOVIE REACTION - WATCH ALONG

Comments

Joey Cintron

This movie was everything I ever wanted in a Godzilla movie. This was EPIC!!!!

That’s so cool that you guys went to JAPAN!! Hope you had an amazing time! What a perfect movie to celebrate your return. This is EASILY my favorite Godzilla movie ever. I enjoy the recent American versions, but this one elevated Godzilla to a whole new level for me. The HUMAN element is SO good, and so well written. So much emotion and phenomenal acting from the cast. And this is definitely the most terrifying version of Godzilla I’ve ever seen. The entire movie was just an amazing experience I’ll never forget.

You should listen to the techno remix they do of the Godzilla Suite. Duuude that track slaps!!! lol I love that you guys got to visit Japan. I hope to as well someday. Did you listen to some Atarashii Gakko while you were there?!

Mister Lou

Damn, sucks to be me.. I can't find a copy of this to watch and then watch with you guys. Maybe it's a Canada thing? Like it's not released here yet. Also are you still planning on watching Super8?

SuperJ22

I was waiting for this moment finally for you guys to finally watch this movie...I had watch it in IMAX on the limited run it had in the US and the theatre was absolutely shaking...by the end of the movie...everyone was crying at the end when Nori was alive. This is the best Godzilla in a long time and the story telling was so humanizing that it left you drained and joyful in the end. Thank you both for putting this up finally and being the best reaction channel IMO. Keep up the great work you two!

Luke Wilson

I saw this opening night in IMAX and then in a normal theater. Both experience were amazing. However the IMAX showing there were people in full costume. On guy was dressed as Dr Serazawa with a prop oxygen destroyer from the 1954 movie. What does everyone think is going on with Noriko 's neck at the end? I've seen many theories but nothing definitive. Maybe its the same thing as Shin Godzilla's tail at the end. Oh and one last thing... has anyone seen the minus color version?

Chloe

This movie absolutely blew me away. I saw it twice in theaters and cannot wait to buy the most special edition dvd when available. The story of love, circumstance and redemption is one of the best I’ve ever seen. And the scenes with Godzilla are everything I could ask for in a kaiju film. That scene when they first see him at sea while on the tugboat, one of my favorite suspenseful movie scenes ever.

The Media Knights

Definitely agree! This blew us away. It was the Godzilla film we've been asking for. Now we can go have fun and see what else the MonsterVerse has in store for us! 😄

The Media Knights

Japan was such an amazing experience! Truly a beautiful country. Coming back to this was perfect. This Godzilla film surpassed our expectations. Can't wait to watch the minus color version. We are so lucky to get two Godzilla films back to back!

The Media Knights

We definitely recommend visiting! It'll blow you away. Such a beautiful country with some of the most impressive cities we've ever seen. And that's coming from a duo who spent a lot of time in NYC!

The Media Knights

Not a Canada thing! Open up a Prime Japan account. It's the only way we got around it. You need to have an account that is based in Japan and then burn in your own subs.

The Media Knights

That means a lot to us! Thank you for the massive compliment! This film was definitely worth the hassle and the wait. We both agree this is without a doubt one of the best Godzilla films we've watched. As fans of the character we are so lucky to have watched this and have the next chapter in the MonsterVerse only a few days away!

The Media Knights

The neck thing could go either way really! One could be a Godzilla/Human hybrid like Shin implied and another (and most popular theory) the origins of Biollante! Only time will tell!

The Media Knights

As soon as the physical is available we are definitely buying it! This is our favorite film from 2023 as well as our favorite Godzilla film so far. What a joy to watch!

James Briscoe

Where’d you guys watch this? I’m friggin dying to see it.

Ricardo Alanis

I love this movie. I accidentally watched the black and white version in theaters which does give it a very different feel and is worth a rewatch. I loved that Godzilla was a force of nature around this very personal story of survivor’s guilt.
