If you haven't seen Gen V yet, you totally need to see it. It's a great spin-off for The Boys.

Already seen it! Was way more connected to "The Boys" than we anticipated. Still a similar vibe and much fun to be had.

Ah cool. Then I can say, that Victoria Neuman is not only bullet proof, as we saw this episode but can also withstand Homelander's lazer eyes. It was shown in Gen V that Marie Moreau and Neuman have the same power. Given that Marie was able to survive Homelander's blast I would imagine Victoria could as well. I had also seen some discussions theorizing that Victoria (and possibly Marie when she's able to control her power more) would be among the very few that could take down Homelander. If you recall when Homelander flew in during one of Victoria's ralley events (think it was season 2-I will need to re-watch it) if you look back she didn't take her eyes off Homelander when he took the mic from her. The suspician was that she was prepared to pop his head if he attacked the crowd. Some of the later scenes in the 3rd season to me suggest that's she's not 100% sure if she could. But there's no proof yet so I guess we'll have to find out during the course of the show, if they even touch upon it during this season. Who knows; this show is bonkers and often takes an unexpected turn so we'll see I suppose. Very fun react. Looking forward to more! This first episode of Season 4 was definitely a banger! What a bonkers show! LOL!

Can I pick up this series here or is it best to watch the first 3 seasons? I don't mind doing it backwards if anything (it worked for Star Wars so who knows i guess). I've seen half of season one and the vibe was nice. Are the other 3 seasons good?

Good point! Would love to see Neuman try just so that we have a reference as to how powerful she truly is. We also don’t know what’s the extend of Homelander’s durability. I mean he’s strong and can take a hit but just how much damage can he truly take.

I don't feel so bad. Maybe its just me and the environment I grew up in. But when someone is that unhinged you have to walk away from them if not stop them. I mean murder is a serious thing, he saw it with his own eyes. Lies or no lies he knows what he saw. I think when he realizes he doesn't need to fear Homelander he'll immediately turn on him. Or so I hope!!! 😬

That's very true. The virus they cooked up in Gen V Butcher said when he met up with Neuman that it isn't strong enough to take him down. If that won't work and Neuman can't, that just leaves the possibility that he can't be taken down which is scary. But I guess there is also still the possibility that Soldier Boy could. I'm thinking if anyone can it would be him. Which is kinda scary in of itself as Soldier Boy is no saint lol. That is one thing I think that sets Homelander apart from other comics. Usually a character that powerful has a weakness that can be exploited to bring down the overpowered being. In Homelander's case though the only real weakness we've seen is his desire for attention. When that goes heaven help us.
