PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL - FULL LENGTH MOVIE REACTION - WATCH ALONG

Comments

Fred Skull

Jack Sparrow’s about to steal Denise’s heart, in true pirate fashion 😂

TJ

Definitely one of my top favorite trilogies of all time in any genre. Watching these movies never gets old.

Katieee120

Oh boy! This is going to be a great watch!

Kahiko

I just finished rewatching all the movies just the other day what are the odds 😂😂

Kat M.

On a side note, sorry have to mention, corsets are actually quite comfortable. A proper one would support you and are structured to hold the weight of the clothes, so that pressure isnt on the body. Movies like to portray them as not. If an actress says they aren't, it's most likely due to wearing a generic one that isn't made to fit them or wardrobe properly.

PumpkinHat

The funny thing is that that when talking about the island chain and not thinking about pirates I always pronounce it with the emphasis on the i but only for these movies and when thinking about pirates I pronounce it with the emphasis on the a. I don't know how that happened lol but I think that both pronunciations are acceptable.

PumpkinHat

One interesting bit of trivia about this movie is that it was originally written around Will Turner's and Elizabeth Swann's characters with Jack Sparrow not being as important of a character as he became. Johnny Depp's performance was just so good that he pretty much became the main character.

JF Ranger

What a good idea. This is a classic. Will be watching along.

Daniel Karlsson

I love the pirates-movies. Depp is fantastic and everything is just epic (in that fun, spectacular way). I agree with you guys that the soundtrack is amazing. Also the effects are probably still some of the best I've seen (which says a lot considering when it was made). The mix between practical and cgi is phenomenal. The script is clever and pretty much all of the acting is great. I'm assuming you will continue with the series and I'm looking forward to it. The original trilogy is great. I even like most of the 4th one. You may want to skip number 5 though, it is not that enjoyable. Loved watching Denise fall into the world of pirates! Btw, if you want to see Orlando Bloom show some great range, Kingdom of Heaven is really good.

Melissa Creel

Yay! This movie surprised me. It came out after the first Haunted Mansion movie with Eddie Murphy and it was not good so we thought great, another movie based on a ride that's probably not good. When I finally got around to watchjng it I fell in love with it. Johnny Depp really nailed this part. And Orlando Bloom was perfect for that character. Also Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, perfection. Absolutely awesome.

Jordan Williams

I might be commenting too early, but I hope you guys watch the other 2 movies!!! You can stop at "At World's End" lol. Just watch the trilogy.

DM DC

So much fun! I do recommend going back to see the post credit scene before moving to the next film. Each of these films has a post credit scene. Great react! Looking forward to continuing with the next films, they are so much fun!

Michael G. Munz

Mister Gibbs is the real hero of these movies.

Michael G. Munz

A good friend of mine says the same thing!

Blaze118

Loved these movies and it's good to see new reactions to it. Glad you enjoyed this and I can't wait to join you on this adventure. Also Random Movie Suggestions Friends. Go! We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson

Julien Tennis

Can't wait for the next ones and watching it with you guys , great movies , great reaction as always <3

BubblyRainbows

I'll be happy to go through the Pirates movies again with your reactions. This was fun to watch with you. Watching these with someone who hasn't seen them is just so entertaining. There are so many good moments. Looking forward to the next two (at least) or hopefully four. Also, someone else said it, but it bears repeating, there are after credits scenes in these movies (I honestly don't remember if the 4th and 5th had them, but the first three definitely do. If you get the chance, you may want to go back and watch the after-credit scene in this one. Hope your weekend is fantastic! Looking forward to whatever is next! ✌️🤓

The Media Knights

Yup! She's so excited to see what comes next. Absolutely obsessed with the pirate life now 😂

The Media Knights

There's so much here I'm now able to appreciate even more. So glad it was a slam dunk with Denise. She absolutely loved it!

Mister Lou

I like at the end when you said that Will's looking like D'Artagnan, you guys should check out the 2011 Three Musketeers. Also a head's up, these movies have End Credit scenes.

The Media Knights

Pretty much the same thing that happened when Hugh Jackman became Wolverine. Some actors are just meant for certain roles!

The Media Knights

Kingdom of Heaven is on our sights and we're probably gonna be watching the director's cut for that one.

The Media Knights

Oh I'm so excited to be jumping back into this universe. So much to love! And so much work put into it. The film looks incredible, the soundtrack is iconic and the characters well...they just make you fall in love with them.

The Media Knights

Thanks for the heads up! Moving forward for the next two we'll keep that in mind. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

The Media Knights

Super happy you guys are having a fun time with these! Adding your suggestion to the list!

The Media Knights

Thank you so much for watching alongside us! We had so much fun and can't wait to share the rest.

The Media Knights

Definitely gonna look out for the after credits moving forward! We had a blast and I'm so happy Denise enjoyed the experience as much as I'd hope. Can't wait to get to the next one 😄

Stephanie

I was surprised that you didn't recognise the main theme from the soundtrack being also part of the soundtrack from Gladiator. 🤔

David

The one to be credited for the soundtrack is really Hans Zimmer and not Klaus Badelt. The main theme is really similar to a theme from Gladiator, which Hans Zimmer also composed. I think Klaus Badelt only orchestrated or completed the fine parts of the music

TJ

Can't wait to see y'all react to the next two. I think she'll get a real kick out of them as well.

Joey Cintron

And I'm a descendant of a real Caribbean pirate. I fell in love with this movie.

David

All right you seem to know much. But I‘m pretty sure Hans Zimmer was the creative force that came up with the main melodies and stuff like that. So I do reckon the other composers wouldn‘t have been able to create those sick themes, though I could be wrong. Everybody did their part which has to be acknowledged of course

David

But you‘re saying Klaus Badelt initially was responsible for the Gladiator theme? Interesting

Melissa Creel

My husband loved in Trinidad for a year before we met. He said, at least then they pronounced it with emphasis on the A and E sound. CAribbEAn.

Andrew Zavala

Make sure to watch the post-credit scenes after each of them.

Andrew Zavala

Can't wait for you to watch all of the POTC films.

David Lonewolf Wright

There were so many scenes that were framed right from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, I could almost smell the water. For another Geoffrey Rush chewing the scenery as a villain, you should check out Mystery Men.

Alex von Hochtritt

The Interceptor is a real ship - it's based here in Seattle, the Lady Washington. It's been in several movies and TV shows.
