John Ostlund

Excited to rewatch this! Let's goooo Graduated that year

Mike Jenson

Another good composer is Hans Zimmer and Interstellar is one of the best in cinema in my opinion. And another great John Williams is Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Michael G. Munz

I haven't seen this since it came out. The looonng shot on the highway was incredible! And I hate that I couldn't enjoy it without thinking "Fasten your @$#&ing seatbelts!" 😂 Think you'd ever watch the 1953 version?

Casimir

Isn't War of the Worlds the story that was first adapted to radio and they broadcasted it as if it were real and people believed it?

JRCortez

Yes, broadcast in 1938 with narration by Orson Welles.....

Philippe Côté

I forgot how good this movie was. Very nice! Reminded me a lot how M. Night Shyamalan Signs(2002) does it. Building the tension and move the pace thru you main characters, always very effective story telling. And some other movies with an interesting take on Aliens invasion that deviate from the usual movie formula and might be of interest for cinematographers : Nope(2022), The Fourth Kind(2009), Annihilation (2018)

a GREAT Movie & GREAT Reaction as well - Thankyou .. just a Suggestion would You consider Reacting to the 3 - Naked Gun movies? Keep those Reactions coming.!

PumpkinHat

I've always really liked this movie but I forgot just how good it is. The red stuff reminds me of the Flesh That Hates SCP. I wonder if they're terraforming with it.

Mister Lou

anther great time with The Media Knights! Can't wait to see what's up next!

Matthias Fendl

What a nice surprise Spielberg again! Can't wait thank you

Show Town

Love that movie! Thanks for making a reaction! Love you guys

cindygrape

You can always count on Speilberg giving us a good the old fashioned fun movie with captivating story with an amazing practical sets! I feel like we don't get movies like this anymore! Watching this again made me somehow think of Arrival and I would 100% recommend that if you haven't seen it yet! You'd love it

JayDee AhBooWan

@TheMediaKnights have either of you seen Top Gun? I don’t want to spoil if you haven’t

The Media Knights

Can't wait to check it out! We've gotten loads of recommendations for that one.

The Media Knights

Thank you so much for watching! It was a blast, glad you enjoyed it ❤️

JayDee AhBooWan

Then I don’t wanna spoil the movie trivia until you guys have seen it!

The Media Knights

You guys are the best! We've got some more goodies coming your way!

The Media Knights

It seems to be some form of alien vegetation. So yeah, they were most likely beginning the process of xenoforming.

The Media Knights

Adding them to our list! Thank you for the suggestion. We're always on the lookout for some good comedies.

The Media Knights

Yes! Definitely reminded us of Signs just a bit. I've (Ari) seen Nope and absolutely loved what they did with their take of an UFO.

The Media Knights

After hearing so many people praise the 1953 version we'd definitely be game to watch it!

The Media Knights

Hans Zimmer is one of our favorite composers as well! He's done such brilliant work in every single film he's worked on!

The Media Knights

We gotta do some more horrors! Spooky season is right around the corner, this year we'll start posting some a bit early ❤️

A few other great alien movies: - District 9 - Super 8 - Cloverfield

Freight Train Jon

@TheMediaKnights Have either of you seen The Patriot with Mel Gibson?

Stephen Caveney

I forgot how good this movie. Enjoyed watching with your good selves. Great reaction.

Paul Lamprey

What, what, what...!?! Deffo needs to be on the list, Top Gun Maverick too... Annnd I'll throw in 'Days of Thunder' too...

Paul Lamprey

One great invasion film that doesn't get enough credit is the original 'Skyline' from 2010... To see how well a movie can be made on the restricted budget they had was unbelievable...

Ricardo Alanis

I love the foreshadowing when Rachel had the splinter and said when her body was ready it would push it out. Minority Report is another great Cruise/Spielberg movie you’d love.
