Hi guys! I’m ready for this reaction. I love this movie. For me, it’s more like a “ Predator 3”. Question, are you going to watch Alien Resurrection? I particularly really liked that one and kind of vindicates a little Alien 3. Hope you guys are doing well. 💜💜

Paul W S Anderson is fond of those hologram map transitions - they were used extensively in the first two Resident Evil movies and the other 4 too. Not sure they were in Event Horizon or other of his films.

Predator is my favorite of the 2 creatures. I only wish they kept the crack sound when their shoulder gun fired. Other wise the rest of these movies are like this with the fun kind of action. Nothing to deep.

I like to think that most fans have warmed up a bit this first movie. I kind of consider it as fanfiction brought to life, in a good way. Not to be taken too seriously but just to have fun. Now AVP: Requiem...(insert clip of Yoda sighing in disappointment)

Well if you're ok with an iffy movie Alien V Predator Requiem picks up right where this one left off with the Alien/Predator hybrid. lol

The interesting thing about this film, is it's the 3rd film in which the guy playing Weyland ends up being taken out by one of the 3 major sci-fi franchise characters. Terminator first, Aliens second, and this one the Predator. Bill Paxton was the only other one who got taken out by all 3 on screen.

I definitely liked this movie. The only thing I will say about the next movie, it gets really dark, so prep yourselves for that experience. They take disturbing or unsettling to another level in the next film.

I agree with you Alien Resurrection vindicates Alien 3. Although, people really don't like Alien Resurrection I happened to really like it.

I feel like I recall hearing that Ridley Scott really didn't like the idea of this movie and that the Aliens and Predators do not exist together in his universe. Also, I remember hearing that Bladerunner and Alien do canonically take place in the same universe. This movie still has a special place in my heart because I watched it as a kid even before I ever watched any of the Alien or Predator movies. I agree that while it's not the best it is still fun to watch.

I agree with you about the bare minimum development they give to the human characters in this movie. But I didn't sit down to watch this movie to cheer for the humans. I was here for Aliens and Predators beating each other senseless! And that's what I got. No Spoilers: If you're going to watch the second movie, as I probably have mentioned before, you may want to turn up the brightness of whatever you're watching it on a couple of points. It really helps. I wouldn't even mention it otherwise. I actually like the second AvP movie more than this one, and I don't understand a lot of the hate it gets (though I do understand some of it). I hope you'll react to it, so that I can hear what you think of it in the end. "Predators" is another movie that I feel is worth watching despite some of the hate it gets. Can't wait to see which one (if any) you'll get to first. I have to admit, it was hard to keep synced with this one (not your fault) because we only own the extended cut of "AvP." I imagine the same will be true of the second one, since we only have the unrated cut. I do think most channels are better off doing the theatrical cuts just because more people will have access to it most likely.

Seconding that you should add Predators and AVP: Requiem! Can I also throw in an early Halloween suggestion? Satanic Hispanics - I know what the title sounds like but the ride from the movie is worth and I believe you all can really appreciate the storyline vs other reactors who would not catch all the things that you guys do. Thanks for all you do!

Those are teenagers looking to earn their mark the adults move solo if y'all go forward in predator movies you will see more advanced one, the one on AVP 2 is one of the Elite ones then you have the ones that's bigger than your normal adult predators

Great reaction guys... I had LOADS of fun watching you jive with the insane alien and predator action, of course we weren't expecting much from the characters so people tend to put this towards the back of their minds cause it's more crazy combat fun without stellar storytelling and deep, compelling characterization to make you fall in love with any of the cast.

Alien vs. Predator is the movie equivalent of eating a giant tub of popcorn: it’s not "fine dining" like the originals, but it’s incredibly satisfying if you just want to see two iconic monsters hit each other with heavy objects.
