JURASSIC WORLD (2015) FULL LENGTH MOVIE REACTION - WATCH ALONG

Comments

Draekor Targaryen

This is my favorite one out of this entire iconic franchise. Chris Pratt as Owen Grady was a great addition to the movie series, to me it felt like a continuation of Alan Grant in a modern way.

Show Town

This actually wasn't bad at all! I had fun watching it when it came out! Thanks for posting this one!

Blaze118

Looking forward to it. Is Day After Tomorrow still coming?

Christian_Berlin

Awesome, I just asked myself recently if you'd react to this movie as well. Nice. :)

Hi guys, how are you? First of all, I want to tell you that I really like your videos and I was wondering if you have ever seen The Kingdom of Heaven and if not, then I recommend it to you.

Mister Lou

Glad you guys liked it, I always have fun watching these movies. The assistant's death was gruesome and over the top and I loved it, no reason at all for it, but oh well. Also the extra who made sure he had a good grip and didn't spill his drinks is also very relatable. I really enjoy the next one too, but the 3rd is my all time fav. maybe an unpopular opinion, but oh well. please check out the Extended version of Jurassic World 3.

Dee

Oh wow, I thought you guys already saw this one. Fun! And perfect timing cause I just had surgery and need some stuff to watch while recovering. Let's go!

I really enjoy this movie. Is it a bit silly? Yes. I mean a lot of stuff is so over the top it almost reaches the silly, but I feel they are very well aware of this and lean into it. That is smart, because we as an audience can buy "the Hollywood magic" when it is a little bit clever and clearly done with some spark. It shows they know what made the first movie so good and just amps it up to 200, which is pretty much the best way to do a film like this. The effects over all are good. Sure, maybe a bit too much CGI in places, but they use more practical effects than one would expect out of a movie like this and for the most part everything looks great. The score is excellent. Riffing off the original theme is very clever and makes us nostalgic. Regarding the acting I feel it's ok. Chris Pratt plays Macho Man-Chris Pratt, which is fine. Bryce Dallas Howard has a bit of an arc and gets to at least display some emotion, but overall the script isn't really allowing that much for her to do. Vincent D'Onofrio is just as dispicable as he can, which is good. We all want to hate him, so he does his job. Even the kids are alright (the younger one is quite good overall, he feels like an actual child, not too smart but not just running and screaming). I didn't like the sequel as much as this one, but will absolutely watch it with you if you're doing it. Some recommendations that I think you would enjoy: A Touch of Evil (1958) Wreck-It Ralph Hudson Hawk Dragonheart Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

This is why you design your gigantic dino cages with doors that only human-sized folk can fit through. :D

Watching this movie with you guys tonight was such a treat! Jurassic Universe roll out. In order of my favorite to least favorite: Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic Park 3 and Jurassic World Dominion.

I don’t care what anyone says. I love all of the Jurassic World movies. Also the actor who plays Zach, Nick Robinson, is an amazing actor who has been in a lot of great projects. He is one of the leads in a mini series called Maid. You guys should definitely check it out.

Great reaction as always. I am subscribed to several YouTube movie reactors and TheMediaKnights are definitely at the very top, they are undoubtedly the best. My reaction list will be complete once they review the following movies in the future! - Super 8 - Kingdom Of Heaven - Kick-Ass - The Last Samurai - Apocalypto - Hacksaw Ridge

James Forrest

Hey guys :) It's been far too long since I was able to do a full watch-through with you fine people, and it's a great movie to return to that with :) Hope you two are well! I've been keeping an eye on the output, and it's excellent as always, but I've been just so damned busy lately! Talk to you guys again on the other side :)

Tom French

I love hearing you guys geek out when a movie's score is good. It's such an underappreciated aspect of the industry in general. Also, I'm sure you've probably heard this by now, but the guy who ran from the pteranodon chaos with a margarita in each hand was a cameo by Jimmy Buffet.

James Forrest

Guys that was a total pleasure as per usual, and I loved that you guys enjoyed it so much. Sadly, I agree with the guys who say that it's downhill from here, but I think this film is easily the second best of the franchise with JP2 in third place; they, to me, form a perfect little trilogy all on their own. (Which isn't to say the third of the original trilogy doesn't have its moments; as a reader of Crichton's original novel it was good to see the aviary appear in 3 as well as the famed T-Rex swimming sequence, sort of anyway, it was the spinosaur that swam in the movie ... still, those little nods to the original book were appreciated.) And since he was one of my favourite characters in the book, it was fab to see Henry Wu back in the films, and he remains a brilliant, if arrogant, man who got carried away being God. A lot of his concepts are from the original novel as well, such as the idea that the dinosaurs have never been 'real' to begin with, so there's nothing wrong with making better 'versions' of them ... that of course is marvellously realised in this movie. So yeah guys, that was a great way to spend a couple of hours in your oh so fine company, which I've missed very much the last few months :) Looking forward to seeing what you guys have up on the boards next!

There is already a reaction of Hacksaw Ridge

Emily Gray

I'm glad you picked up the subtle references to inGen...again, they play a large part the the story. Yes, a rich benefactor sponsored the park and brought it to fruition with the help of Dr. Wu. But Dr. Wu is still in cahoots with inGen and inGen has been working quietly on other projects that are less ethical than the theme park if you can imagine... and that will play a story in the next two movies. Also, bring tissue. Some tear-jerking scenes in the next one.

Leslie Hinson

How do I upload the movie to synch up with their reaction???

Tax2er

Google got a Picture-to-Picture extension. You can put either their video above the movie, or the movie above their video.

Joey Cintron

Lets get into that Robocop (2014) remake! I think you guys will love it!

Sara Croughan

I absolutely love this movie!!!! 😍🍿

Leuvie

So yeah the T-rex is the same as the one from the first movie, called Rexy by all fans <3 Love the detail of her smashing the spinosaurus skeleton before going into the fight with Indominous as a reference to the third movie. And also her walking up on the helicopter pad at the end, where some of the "powerful humans surveyed their kingdom" earlier in the movie, showing who the real queen is.

Nate Terry

you guys missed Dr. Henry Wu from the first movie! back when the crew was watching the raptor egg hatch and malcolm is talking to the scientist about all the dinosaurs in the park being female. That was Dr. Wu. He returns in this film and has that argument with CEO Masrani(helicopter trainee lol) about wanting something with "bigger, scarier teeth." he fled the lab during the chaos when the InGen guy set the raptors loose to hunt the Indominus and wound up getting killed himself by Blue.

Scarlett08

Heyy a bit late to this one 😅butt a really cool bts for this movie on YouTube for the assistant Zara. The actress Katie McGrath did the stunts for her death scene herself and it’s super interesting to see how it all worked. Also love your videos thanks for all the entertainment looking forward to what you watch next 🫶🏻
