As someone who tracks the box office, Nosferatu was so aggravating. Universal is obsessed with putting their films on digital platforms under a month after they debut in theaters, and this was one of the first times that it actually affected the box office run. The film is going to finish with a little over $95 million domestically, which is still great, but it was previously going to easily top $100 million. As soon as they put it on Prime Video and Apple TV+ to buy and rent, it started falling 50% each day week over week.

It was amazing. I've ordered the blu ray as I'm really interested to see the 2nd cut included in the disc. Alternate version is so intruiging

I feel you so much on this. The thing with Robert Eggers is his work is always great with word of mouth, in addition to advertising. I really wish they would have left it to box office only for longer.

It definitely seems like YouTube is giving you guys a hell of a time the past week. I saw Universal just took this down, and I know Paramount is giving you a hard time over Sonic as the sequels were taken down, and only the second has gone back up. Sorry you guys have to deal with it!

I’ts so cool Nicholas Holt plays practically the same character in the same movie in a slightly different genre: “Renfield” You gotta watch that And the other main character has the time of his life playing his role^^ And to Nosferatu: Again a masterful piece of art from Robert Eggers I love his movies

This movie is a work.of.art. I love how Orlok is represented here as what an undead Transylvanian nobleman might look like (Vlad The Impaler) meets a traditional, folkoric vampire. Bill Skarsgard and Lily RD are especially phenomenal in a stellar cast. A lot of folk compare this to Bram Stoker's Dracula, which is fair considering they have the same source (Dracula), but as much as I love that other movie, it's pretty lightweight compared to this. I can't wait to see Egger's next movie 'Werwulf', a 13th century werewolf movie! You have to see 'The Witch' and 'The Northman' if you haven't already!

I don't know if you guys have already seen it, but I recommend watching Crimson Peak. Its in the same genre as Nosferatu and directed by Guillermo del Toro!
