Comments

Blake

Hey, I’m new here, is there any full version where the movie is on screen so that I don’t have to sync up on a separate device ???

The Media Knights

All of our reactions here are in watch along format, you do need your own copy to sync up with ours ❤️

Blake

Aw damn okay, thanks

Man where is Equalizer 3 😭😭

PDC717

I’m excited for it too, I love the film and I think they will love the change in setting, but give them time lol. I’m sure equalizer 3, the world’s end and super 8 will be the next three.

Ludus Aurea

Let’s go. Been waiting for this one for a long time.

Ludus Aurea

Just some trivia. Peter Jackson was the Santa who stabbed Angel. You’ve also got Cate Blanchett in here in addition to Timothy Dalton and Jim Broadbent and David Bradley. The next movie worlds end also has a James Bond in it and a star studded cast. All three share many of the same cast - Bill Nighy, Rafe Spall, Paddy Considine, David Bradley, Simon and Nick obviously, Martin Freeman. I don't think Coogan is in this one though. Or Stephen Merchant.

Really fun reaction! I knew you two would really enjoy this. Can't waite for the next one. Once you're done with the Cornetto Trilogy if you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend Paul (2011). Don't look up a poster or what it's about. Go in blind. All you need to know is that it's Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and that it's fantastic!

AniLunchbox

Why is it that almost every reactors I watch who watch this movie hasn't seen Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet ( 1996 ) with one of the best casts and soundtracks ever?

Ava S

Loved the movie!!👍🏽 loved the commentary about the movie... this is a very bad way to run a village..😅🤣.. for the greater good😳😳

Hey Ari and Denise! I'm new to the Patreon, but I have loved keeping up with you guys on yt for awhile and you're my favorite reactors because you always have such a great and interesting commentary to everything. I was so excited to see that you covered my all time favorite comedy, and knew I had to be here for the full length reaction! I'm glad you guys enjoyed it so much, I rewatch this movie at least once a week (and quote it almost daily) for I don't even know how long now, and I can confirm that it never gets old!

Mister Lou

besides the obvious, "OMG I can't WAIT for World's End!" I am also hopeful that you two would also keep up with the movies with these two. I'm talking "Paul" and "The Adventures of Tin-Tin"

Osiris66

Figured this would be a good time to vote for snatch and rock-n-rolla. I am a fan of Simon Pegg movies.

sanna schoebloom

Since you like the Cornetto movies I'm pretty sure you would enjoy "Paul". It's a fun action-comedy-roadmovie filled with hints to previous science fiction and geek culture. :)

Matthias Fendl

Had a very great time with you! I agree full on with you! One Question: Didn't you watch Game of Thrones? Yarp? or Narp?^^

Melissa Creel

"Never mess with a ginger.." As a natural born ginger, I concur 😁

Melissa Creel

Love you guys reaction. This is such a great and fun movie. The callbacks are priceless.

Donna Castellano

You guys might have to put "watch along format" in all caps and bold somewhere.

Donna Castellano

The World's End is my favorite of this trilogy. A lot of people don't like it but I really related to the characters the most of any of the Cornetto films. Not to say this and Shaun aren't great tho. The Romeo and Juliet reference is from Baz Luhrmann's 1996 Romeo + Juliet. He modernized the setting and had a contemporary soundtrack. "Lovefool" by the Cardigans took them to international fame because BL used it in the movie. I honestly recommend checking out his body of work if you haven't seen any of it. His cinematography, editing, use of music and direction are all too tier. Moulin Rouge! is one of my favorite movies of all time. (It also has the police chief from this flick as one of the main characters!). His version of The Great Gatsby, with Leo Dicaprio and Tobey Maguire is the only way I've ever gotten through they story. I hated the book, hated the 70s film but I actually enjoyed BL's interpretation. Strictly Ballroom is great. And I think I'm the only person who really liked Australia, with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. I still haven't seen his latest film, Elvis. It was nominated for a bunch of Oscars but didn't win anything. If Everything, Everywhere All at Once hadn't come out the same year, it mightve won something I'll have to check it out soon. Lastly, that was Edgar Wright himself playing the convience store clerk near the end.

Donna Castellano

Robert Rodriguez directed From Dusk Til Dawn. Quentin co-wrote it with RR and, of course, was one of the lead roles. Oddly, the story was originally from Robert Kurtzman, who did a ton of SFX makeup work, with bigs like Tom Savini and Greg Nicotero.

Blake

Why’s this brother got to be so salty for absolutely zero reason whatsoever lol

Robert Robillard 🇨🇦

Already Know ... a BIG FAN of Robert Rodriguez & Quentin Tarantino.. Thanks for Sharing, Though .. appreciated it. 🌻

Tim Pierce

I never get tired of watching this movie. Yarp!

Tim Pierce

Stephen Merchant was PI Staker, owner of the swan.

Muttley's Foundry Development

Ironically (for this comment), the head of the NWA in Hot Fuzz was played by Edward Woodward, the eponymous Equalizer from the original 80s TV show.
