Hey, have you guys seen Shrek the musical? its not a film but a broadway musical however it is available on dvd and is very entertaining. ❤️

Maxine Mitchell

DAY MADE. saw the film 22x in theaters and yours is THE reaction i've been waiting for! can't wait to check it out!

Helion

I watched this movie with a friend on Sunday, but it's one of those rare cases, where it's so good, I'll fire the whole thing up just to see it with you guys.

Adrianna Marie Aka AD

Woke up to yall dropping this greatness so I caught it before starting work. Great way to start the day!!

Dee

THE scene was pretty amazing. I absolutely love that scene & the way they blended the eras & genres. Chefs kiss. Great reaction, thank you!

Danny King-Gordon

did u notice how the brothers represented bloods/crips red/blue showing how the two sides started off as more of a community/unity thing before hatred got in the way

slavicandsapphic

Will Ye Go, Lassie, Go is an Irish mourning song! They baited Mary in with a song about grief :]

Jordan Williams

The packed theater I was in was awestruck during "that scene". I looked around to see everyone's faces and jaws were on the floor.

RidingTheFrequency

Never seen anything like this and I've been on this earth for awhile. For me, it was and always been a love story. Love of family. Reconnected love. Love of music and losing yourself in each. And Smoke gets to reunited with his family in the here after.

Gareth

Your knowledge of Irish history is absolutely phenomenal. You guys should watch the Irish movie 'Black 47'. It shows the terrible hardships that the Irish people experienced through the great Irish potato famine and British oppression.

Gregory Stapleton

I just watched Sinners in the theater today. Boy was that a great film. I couldn’t wait to get back home and watch it again with you two. 👍🏾

PumpkinHat

Thank you for reacting to this movie. I never would have known about it if you hadn't. It was very good and that plot shift was crazy.

In film red usually represents the more wild, reckless partner while the blue is usually used for the more levelheaded, responsible one. Especially in anime, those choices are a pretty clear indicator.

When the film starts- The flashes of Remmick while Sammy enters the church just emphasize to me that his father & the people of the church were equal to Remmick in some ways. His father is so determined to seize Sammy’s gift too, to bring him into the fold of the church, to use his gift to also connect with the spirit; he doesn’t see about his well being, doesn’t try to aid him even though he is clearly hurt. I think that’s why he ran from his dad too.

Aiofe

Not enough is said about the scene Ryan Coogler wanted to cut of Delta Slim, Stack & Sammy in the car. The beauty of that monologue & the decision to tell the story via sound instead of a flashback that would inflict more trauma. We get the audio of Slim’s friend’s death, not a visual. The musician scene is incredible, but the car scene alone is Oscar worthy. Black lives have a soundtrack that is often born out of pain. Its my favorite scene in the film & to think it could have been cut is tragic.

Aiofe

My favorite thing is the men in this film LISTEN to their women. Especially Smoke with Annie. My favorite moments: As Smoke is dying, she calls him Elijah & tells him to put the cigarette out so the “smoke” doesn’t get on the baby. He has to put “Smoke” down so Elijah can join his family. The best.

Jacob Goetz

Yall really need to watch hell or high water or sicario

The Media Knights

Gotta love how the dialogue has layers to it! That moment you referred to was beautifully done. Great performances from both of them!

The Media Knights

Thank goodness they kept that scene! It is one of my favorites and also a nice nod as to how the best music at the time was born out of pain. Outstanding!

The Media Knights

Love when we get to watch something that you guys haven’t yet and you give it a try. It doesn’t happen often so we are thankful for the audience keeping an open mind and trying out something new ❤️

The Media Knights

Thank you! On our off time we are pretty much always doing research on numerous topics and Irish history is a topic we’ve always found interesting. Thank you for the recommendation! Adding it to the list ❤️

The Media Knights

The way the different genres and message was interwoven was phenomenal. This movie is our favorite movie thus far in 2025. The music is also a favorite and has been playing on repeat since we watched this!

The Media Knights

It comes out of nowhere! The movie becomes so grounded and authentic that you completely forget about the supernatural element in it. So when that scene happened we were surprised, excited and thrilled by what we were watching. A unique sequence that has become instantly iconic.

The Media Knights

“Wild Mountain Thyme” has been stuck in our heads since we watched this!

The Media Knights

Please watch it as soon as you can! It’s one of our favorite watches this year. The less you know going into it the better! We hope you have an awesome time 😁

The Media Knights

Wait what!? They’ve made a musical now too 🤣 Gotta show those films to Denise, it’s gonna be a blast

The Media Knights

Woah! Safe to say this is your favorite film of the year so far? So happy to hear you enjoyed this, thank you for joining us and watching this alongside us ❤️😁

The Media Knights

We hope you had a blast with the rewatch! This movie was something else 😁

The Media Knights

Ah man! Always makes us happy to see you guys get excited for a new upload. Thank you for watching this with us! What a movie!

The Media Knights

Did not expect that at all! This movie kept making us forget about the supernatural element in it. Man, that track absolutely slaps! As soon as that baseline hit with the DJ scratches we started figuring out what was going on and were in absolute awe!

The Media Knights

Ryan Coogler always inserts more than one meaning with his visuals so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was an additional message. How regardless of the colors you are wearing you come from the same place and are part of a larger beautiful community. Never forget that ❤️

Bootlegger

i spent good time with you both. watching this movie 12-s time now. best regards from Ukraine

I just want to spread fellowship and love in the comments!

Emperor Raven

Wow that was a damn atmospheric, trippy, psychological, supernatural film with an interesting premise with some deep south historical settings and general tones in terms of society and culture of those times. Hats off to Michael B. Jordan and the production team for their work in filming and editing his doppelganger of a brother because I know that's a hell of a lot of work! Reminds me of From Dusk Till Dawn in some ways, which I enjoyed way back in the day.

Shelby

Their outfits also hint at their involvement with the Chicago mobs they double crossed. Stack's is in the style of the Italian mob, whereas Smoke's is like the Irish.

Shelby

A subtle detail I love in this movie is with Cornbread. We hear how he normally speaks with Stack and at the juke, and then he code-switches when Remmick first shows up. When he comes back after he's turned, he speaks again in that switched tone, showing the connection he now has with Remmick

Qui'Errah Marshall

Miles Caton(Sammie) is 20 years old just so you know, LOL. So he may have been 19 during production. Also Hailee Steinfeld's real life grandfathter is half-black as she stated in interviews. Michael Jordan hates dry blood. Jack O'Connell(Remmick) used to do irish dancing when he was a teenager.

Nowhere Man

Peace-lovin’, therapizing, banjo-playing hillbilly phlebotomists. Now I’ve seen EVERYTHING. And I once thought the baseball game in the Columbia River Gorge, across from Multnomah Falls, was out there.

Cindy Jones

I'm so thrilled to watch Sinners for the first time full-length reaction with you ! I'm getting ready to push play 🥰

Crystal

Please stop taking the movie off the screen especially since every streaming service has ads now. Not seeing the movie will make it impossible to resync
