Can’t wait for Season 3 now I do find Season 3 to be cheesy but more action paced than Season 2.

Sharpgirl

Estefanía Aponte (Vamp)

I agree, this season is like a build-up for the next ones, which of course i can't wait to watch with you guys. I loved that they introduced us to new characters like Kali (8) and Bob. Although Eleven and Kali's time together was very brief, she did teach her something very important, she taught Eleven how to focus her anger to channel her abilities more effectively and that proved to be crucial when Eleven closed the gate to the Upside Down; And Bob uugh such a great great guy, a true hero who we learned to love from the very first moment; The worst part of the season was losing him 🥺💔 This season finale is among my favorites of all the seasons so far. As always, it's fun and a pleasure to enjoy this series with you two! Until the next one! ✌🏻☺️💜

The greatest scene is with Mike at the beginning of episode 9 …BUT!!! As Billy enters the door to Ms Wheeler! That is the greatest scene in the whole season 🤣 and the music is on POINT!!

Mister Lou

now would be a fun time to retro-react to season 2 trailer.. see if they spoiled anything big or teased you just enough to want to watch it?

Donna Castellano

S3 is my favorite. It reminds me the most of what it was like for me as a kid in the 80s.

Absolutely loving stranger things

I'm just so glad you guys still didn't stick to "Billy is a villain". Because yes, he is an asshole and his actions are not excusable. Yet we have a reason for WHY he is the way he is and it's honestly heartbreaking to see

Roni

YES I am so excited for season 3! I adored watching season 3 and we get so many fun moments with the entire crew! I just simply can't wait! All I can say is season 3 DID make me cry haha

Nowhere Man

Early in this season, El and Hopper have a fight and Hopper shouts at her: "Grow the hell up!" This is the season where El starts to do just that, at an accelerated pace. S2E2: El behaves like an angry child. S2E3-6: El practically explodes into a preliminary teen phase. S2E7: El makes a conscious choice to stop being a frightened and helpless child, and become a courageous and empowered adult. S2E8: This is El's (first) coming-of-age moment, when she begins to take responsibility for her past actions. After this, El still has many setbacks with her personal growth. (To quote M3GAN: "My own path to personal growth has been paved with disappointment.") But the El AFTER this season is noticeably different than the El BEFORE this season. MBB's performance of El also changes too, if you look carefully. --- Of course it's the case that the roles actors play have nothing to do with each other, but let's face it: Reiser's character in this show completely redeems his character in Aliens. Just the facts. --- You talked about how scarred and changed all of the characters are (after the events of the first two seasons), but there's one exception: no matter what happens, Dustin is always Dustin. With all of the other characters having spectacular ups and downs and near-death experiences, Dustin is always camped out in the eye of the hurricane, keeping everyone and everything grounded.

You guys are truly moving with Stranger Things. I really appreciate it. It has been my comfort and self-care watching this, and the many other great material you have been putting out. Just want to say thank you I have going through a lot personally, and The Media Knights have been there unknowingly!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

I also want to add a note about the significance of one of the names. #008 is named "Kali". Here's the first paragraph of the Wikipedia article on Kali: Kali (/ˈkɑːliː/; Sanskrit: काली, IAST: Kālī), also called Kalika, is a major goddess in Hinduism, primarily associated with time, death and destruction. Kali is also connected with transcendental knowledge and is the first of the ten Mahavidyas, a group of goddesses who provide liberating knowledge.[2][3] Of the numerous Hindu goddesses, Kali is held as the most famous.[4] She is the preeminent deity in the Hindu tantric and the Kalikula worship traditions, and is a central figure in the goddess-centric sects of Hinduism as well as in Shaivism.[5][6] Kali is chiefly worshipped as the Divine Mother, Mother of the Universe, and Divine feminine energy.[7][8][9] Any way you look at it, Kali is a superbly-chosen name for #008. Not only is (Stranger Things) Kali a self-appointed "bringer of death" who strives to protect the ST "mutants" from further harm, but she also provided El with liberating knowledge. Here is an AI-generated answer that explains some of the ways in which the mythological Kali acts as a catalyst for enlightenment: Kali is thought to provide liberating knowledge because she represents the destruction of ignorance, ego, and false identities, which are seen as obstacles to spiritual awakening. She is viewed as a force that shatters preconceived notions and conditioned beliefs, freeing individuals from the illusions of the self and enabling them to recognize their true, divine nature. This process is described as wrathful wisdom, which, though fierce in appearance, ultimately leads to peace and liberation. Her role as the destroyer of the ego—symbolized by the severed head and garland of skulls—signifies the release from attachment to the temporary body and the cycle of birth and death. Kali is also associated with the power to dissolve the fluctuations of the mind (chitta), a key aspect of Yoga as defined by Patanjali, allowing the individual to experience the silent calm of the Purusha within the heart. As the goddess of time and change, she facilitates transformation and renewal, helping devotees transcend suffering and achieve moksha, or liberation. Her fierce energy is not destructive in a harmful sense, but rather a necessary force to eliminate negativity and spiritual blockages, making her a central figure in spiritual liberation. When ST Kali makes a figment of Papa speak to El, it seems cruel to the viewers, but Kali knew (from her own life experiences) that El needed to recognize and deal with her festering mental wounds, or they would literally kill her someday.
