You can literally see the glimpses of Billy’s 😥humanity because despite him being a jerk, he still cares, him fighting the impulse to attack Mrs Wheeler just proves it right there or him telling max “he made me do it, please believe me” 😭 This is Dacres season! He killed it!

this season is the one I'm most excited to rewatch with you guys, as it was my favorite upon my first watch of the show that I did back when season four came out, & the 80's vibe crushes. season one & two held up so well, in their grounded aspects especially. i know this season deviates from that, but it does the outlandish so well!

Thanks for joining us! Have to agree that this season felt like they hit the ground running. They have already established a big portion of the lore and the characters so they just hit us full gas!

Back in Season 1, when the teenagers were hanging out at the pool (when Barb was still alive), Steve was so clueless about Nancy that he actually accused her of being in band (as though being in band somehow makes you uncool). At this point, Nancy has dumped Steve and Steve is about to make a new best friend. Guess who plays in the marching band. This show has always been quite vague about how the Upside Down was created and where all the people went. In the first season, in the public library, where the victims were cocooned, there was some evidence that the duplicate people in the Upside Down were all killed. But then, in the opening of S3E2, there was a crowd of people and the leader was definitely a duplicate. It's also interesting to note that the Mind Flayer also chooses duplicate Upside-Down Billy to lead the zombies, just as he does in the "real" world. In terms of the show's overall story structure, it's almost like seasons 2+3 are single whole story arc, with S1 and S4 as bookends.

My favorite season I've watched so far!! That scene of Billy pleading to Max to believe him, I think was genuinely him at the beginning. Begging the one person who, yeah he's been an asshole to, but also knows him. Begging her to understand he's fighting himself and can't control it. The sauna scene hurts me to my core and I always tear up at it. Especially because Max starts crying and is so upset. They're not each other's biggest fan (not by far) but they still care to a degree. They're begrudgingly family and they still have a little bit of care in their hearts. Dacre Montgomery kills it as Billy. He's so complex and I'm glad that The Duffer Brothers didn't just leave him as the complete jerk and asshole. He has layers

I just have to say it. I JUST LOVE BILLY. So i said it. I know…i don’t like or approve of his abusing behavior. But when i was young that was the bad boy type i just would fall for. The hair ( yes, better than Steves) the face, eyes, and hmmm the body 😊(sorry) and the actor himself Dacre Montgomery is so good. He is fenomenal in this serie. Don’t you agree? Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
