TWISTER FULL LENGTH MOVIE REACTION - WATCH ALONG

This was fun ! This was one of my favorite movies as a kid although it made me scared shitless of tornadoes. Funny thing is I used to live in a little town surrounded by cornfields, so I was TERRIFIED of a tornado appearing in my town. I felt more safe at school during the day, because my school was in a suburb, and there weren't any major cities destroyed in the movie, just little farming towns. So I felt safe at school, but would dread coming back home. I would wake up at 1 o'clock literally shivering in my bed, teeth clattering, really scared. And I am not exaggerating this one bit. But there are no tornadoes where I live, I'm from Québec, Canada, and they're extremely rare. We had one in 1997 though, a "mini tornado" that happened just on the other side of the St-Lawrence river where I lived. It destroyed a festival tent and they had to cancel the festival because of the damage. Anyway, this was a good trip down memory lane. And it makes me realize how much I love movies done in the 1990s. I thought it was because of the nostalgia factor, but I think it has to do with the good plots, the MUSIC (I love movie music), and the on-scene filming. It seems like movies nowadays don't make me feel as much. Anyway :) Next one for me: Speed <3 :)

Thank you so much for sharing! If I had grown up in a similar environment I’d probably be worried after watching this! Thankfully I’ve only had to deal with low category hurricanes and nothing major 😅 older movies are really hitting the spot!

This is not allowing me to watch your reaction and my own copy of Twister at the same time. I can only watch one or the other. I HAVE A SUGGESTION!! I am a patron on David Vs Film as well. I suggest you look him up and See what he does. He has a LEGAL way to watch the entire film while he is reacting to it and he does not have to blur out any of the film. So he has the full, unblurred film below that we can watch. We do not have to have our own copy. There is no copywrite infringement. All above board! It is so easy to watch him and the film on my iPad. Please check him out. He has an explanation of what he is doing and How it works. He has no problems. Let me know what you think! Love you guys!

The Media Knights

Send us a link to the explanation through our DMs to be clear there is no LEGAL way of doing that. Posting the entire movie on here without having Patreon owning the material on their end is considered piracy. Even in a grey area like reacting. That is as of August 2023. We know a few reactors that have bigger channels so we’ll look into this. Something could’ve changed legally in September 2023. Thanks for the update ❤️

Mike

I know of another reactor who does this, it's convenient, but illegal. Hell anything good probably is tho lolol

Ryan Towell

The guitar work in this was done by the "King" Eddie Van Halen. Van Halen had a song in this as well.

Just watched this one as a watch-along with you guys. Das bringt mich zurück in meine Kindheit. It was one of my favorite movies growing up and I never forgot the scene with the belt, thinking, si alguna vez voy al valle de tornados en los EE. UU., tengo que asegurarme de tener siempre un cinturón de cuero conmigo 😆

Emperor Raven

Solid classic disaster film from the '90s! Absolutely love the incredible casting and acting, set designs, roaring thunderous sound design, the absolute whirlwind of a love triangle romance subplot with two great ladies, high stakes, tension, and especially all the deeply compelling and immersive dynamic character interactions, dialogue, dynamics, relationships on top of it all feeling so real and grounded! Bill Paxton, Bill's new lady, Helen, and all the epic side characters (even the annoying rival storm chasers) really brought this film to life! Great reaction guys, truly enjoyed watching this with you and can't wait to do the watch along for the sequel! I had forgotten about this film for ages ironically, but it's at least my second or third favorite disaster flick! <3

Sleeping Cat Studios

here some fun facts of this movie 1 over 80% was shot on location like in the town of Wakita is a real town that they got permission to destroy some of there old abandons buildings for the movie. 2 production of the movie had to be stop multiple time due to real tornado warning and other servier weather related problems. 3 although its inaccurate to know what type of tornado it is as the storm is happening the terms is right. the last tornado thats how it can look the inner part that the real part of the tornado if you could look inside the tornado the outer part the part 99% of what we do see is the debris part mostly made up dirt, dust, plant life, and building parts if it hits one

Michael Quinn

This movie sparked my lifelong fascination of storms I was 8 when it came out.
