Hey guys! First off thank you to everybody who's become a member of our Patreon. It truly means the world to us and it helps us keep the lights on while we bring you some more reactions! That being said we'd love to hear from you. Is anybody having any issues with the watch along format? Is it easy to sync up, do you have any questions or suggestions etc.! We try to make it as easy as possible for everyone to watch our full length reaction while they use their own copy. If there is anything else we can do on our end let us know! Also Halloween season is almost here so expect some really cool spooky classics.

You've been doing a great job from what I've seen so far. Watched Alien and Aliens over the last two nights. Easy to sync-up and your own production quality is of a high standard as well. It's much appreciated. You're muting the sound of the original source, which is super important for the best possible immersion into the movie. Some reactors leave the original material sound on, which is a big no-no for full reactions. Well done! Just anecdotally I'm using a headphones sandwich when watching with you. Inside are the little Air Pods Pro with your commentary, transparency turned on and connected to an iPad. Over the little earphones I wear larger headphones which are connected to an AV receiver with the source material. It kind of works great, but I'd love to hear from others about their setups too.

Unfortunately I have most of my steaming services threw my smart tv and don’t have access on my iPad or my computer outside of prime Originals. But even then I’m limited as it’s not my account. But I subbed to support and just wait tell the highlighted edited version comes out on YouTube. Maby make a slightly extended edited version for here? If not and to much work for you I totally understand. Either way will support and enjoy your guys content.

Oh lord sometimes when I read "first off thank you ..... etc" my brain thinks it's bad news lol "first off thank you for supporting us but this isn't quite working out it's been real peace " 😭😂😭😂😂😂 lol glad that's not the case 😁 as far as suggestions for the watch alongs, 1) Tell us where you're watching it (Amazon prime, max, Hulu etc having the same movie on different streaming services doesn't necessarily sync up at the beginning, the opening studio production logos/cards could be in different order or one streaming service might have an FBI warning while another one doesn't etc 2) Tell us the the runtime 3) you already got the countdown down lol 4) a blurred out version of the movie where you cant possibly know what movie is being reacted to but still can tell when it switches scenes is the best way to sync up (with all that being said I don't have much trouble syncing up, eventually I find my way) lol

The Media Knights

First of all that sounds like a nice setup you got there. No compromise in terms of audio with some good headphones! Secondly I want to thank you on behalf of both of us. Bringing you guys the best possible experience is our goal at all times. And it brings us joy (and a sense of relief) to hear that you guys are happy ❤️

The Media Knights

Thank you for supporting us! Even though you can't watch the full length reaction. Because of our schedule (We still work outside of YT) it's been pretty tough to bring you guys YT highlights on early access here. Whenever you guys see the YT version most of the time it's coming right out of the oven from rendering to uploading. It's been my goal behind closed doors to work on a scheduling system that would allow us to have the YT version edited sooner and therefore available earlier for Patreon members. You guys not only deserve the extra effort but I believe it'll also give some of you the option if you don't want or cannot watch the full length reaction. Thank you for sharing and for the support ❤️

The Media Knights

Hey! Oh no...haha the only time we'll ever take a break from YT will be when we are in the middle of doing something we love even more which is making movies. We love doing this and we love connecting with you guys on a daily basis. Thank you for your notes! It definitely helps to see where people might encounter issues❤️

I love your reactions! And I love your watch-along format ! My only suggestion would be to keep a small thumbnail of the video playing on the bottom of the screen, blurred of course! I know of other people who are extremely careful with copyrights infringement who do so without any problem. You blur everything so that we can't watch anything on your screen and no sound on. It realllllly helps to sync up again when I need to pause your reaction and come back to it later... even a couple of days later. I find it really hard to sync up with only the timer as a reference, especially since some streaming platforms have a countdown timer, and you start from 0:00. And I really want to be as close as possible to what you're seeing :) So, just seeing blurred images to make sure that when a scene changes it changes at the same time on my end would make this way much easier. I don't know if this makes any sense at all! It was a long day :) Good night!

The Media Knights

Makes perfect sense! Thank you for the feedback. From now on we'll be doing our usual transparent player for the first minute and after that it'll remain fully visible with the blur on. This is the easiest way to make sure everybody can sync up at all times. Have a great night!

Earl Grey

what kind of audio mixer do you use?

The Media Knights

That is a pretty awesome setup! Thank you for sharing! It'll definitely come in handy to those looking for an upgrade. October has already been organized with everything that we'll be watching but we'll add Big Fish to our November release schedule!

You're the greatest! And no, I didn't lie about going to bed. I failed lollll

Midgey_M

Ohh the Way Way Back and Secondhand Lion are two of my favorites! I would love to see reactions to them.

Earl Grey

Thanks for that.

Totally unrelated but your cat looks sooo much like my cat, Sherlock!

If you could specify which streaming service or disc, if that's the case, that you are using for your reaction video, if this doesn't present a privacy problem for you. If I have a subscription I'd try to use the same, and also I could verify that we are watching the same version with an identical running time. Every so often I run into an issue where the host channel is watching a different version and I could not keep it in sync with the Blu-ray disc I was watching. I ran into this with "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and the host channel did not indicate what their film source was.

Earl Grey

just a small thing, but you probably don't need fractions of a second in the runtime timer. hh:mm:ss is plenty precise. and also this will be a bit less distracting without the quickly changing numbers. not a biggie, just a suggestion.

Jack Burton

idk if anyone has mentioned this, but mentioning the service you are using to watch the movie plus the full run-time of the version you're watching (like "2 hours, 21 minutes, 36 seconds") could help make sure we are watching the same version of whatever the movie is. (with tv shows there is no need, but with movies it can help)
