PREDATOR 2 FULL LENGTH MOVIE REACTION - WATCH ALONG

Comments

Earl Grey

Why not start with Predator 1? Like you did for Alien, Aliens. Is it because you've already seen it? I'd watch both of them with you. Even thought I've seen both. But it was many years ago.

The Media Knights

Because we did do Predator. Just a bit before we started our Patreon. The original is actually one of our very first reactions.

Earl Grey

got it, thank you. I found it on your YT channel so I think I'm just going to watch it as a "previously on" recap before watching the 2 with you.

Andrew Fisher

Yes, that was a xenomorph skull in the trophy room on the ship.

Jack Burton

the pistol is a trophy. the last Predator knew the human couldn't take a trophy since they were taking the body. in Predator culture you need a trophy. so he threw him a trophy that he had on him since he deserved it. i think it's just a cool tie-in that Prey used the pistol to connect the movies a bit.

Angelos Harris

One of my childhood favorite movies, worthy sequel, it really fleshes out the lore of the Predator. Fun watching it again with you two!

Chris Smith

Fun fact the tribe if predators in the ship danny Glover is a huge fan of the los angeles lakers he invited the team at that time to come in design your predator outfit and be in the movie also theres footage of a predator dance off on YouTube

Chris Smith

In the movie prey i think the gun was just paying homage to this movie i could be wrong

Great watch along... so far I've had a blasting watching your reactions to all of the Alien and Predator films! Predator 2 is of course weaker than the OG brilliantly executed Predator but it's got a really strong cast in itself which held it up very well, along with tons of amazing action (including both gang war battles with the cops and fights with the predator), very nice urban settings for a change, advanced predator weapons and technology being displayed and used throughout the film, and I really love the chemistry and humor between the main actors too. Poor Bill Paxton lol, I love the concept of despite how bad the gangs think they are and how resourceful the police force is... there is something out there far more advanced, skilled, and dangerous than they are! I absolutely love the slaughterhouse fight and how badass it was when Danny Glover made that huge entrance with the grenade launcher! Also very funny was when they were hanging onto the edge of the building when Danny Glover said "p***y face" to the predator while the predator responded "shit happens!" LMAO

If you’re looking for the masterpiece suspense of the first film, you’ll be disappointed. But if you want a hyper-violent, neon-drenched urban nightmare with some of the best lore additions in sci-fi history, Predator 2 is an absolute blast.
