Good start to the season. I think the fact that you aren't sure where it's going is a good thing, isn't it? Even if it messes a little with your story detection superpowers.😊 I wonder what prompted writing Sahar out of the season (or at least some of it -- I think she comes back at some point, but I'm not sure when). You think it was always planned that way, or did the actress have a conflicting commitment or something? Hmm. Doesn't matter much, I guess, but if it was an intentional choice, I'm not sure it was the right one. I've always liked the Sahar/Max dynamic. Which I still say reminds me of the Kate/Ben dynamic some. I love D'Arcy swatting Harry with a rolled up newspaper. "Bad alien!" D'Arcy is the best. The bottle hidden in the couch cushions, though, I hope that doesn't portend anything. Nice to see Linda Hamilton finally getting a chance to do something other than sneaking around looking vaguely menacing. I think there's some potential here for some fun interplay between Harry and the General. And her lieutenant, Ms. Deadpan "I Hate You" is pretty funny too. Judah Prehn, who plays Max, was born in 2010, which makes him 14-15 now (during the filming of Season 4), so I guess we'll have to get used to the idea that he's not a little kid anymore. For me, it's kind of jarring that anyone born in a year starting with 2 could be anywhere near adulthood (this includes my nephew and niece, ages 20 and 18 now). Makes me feel pretty ancient. But then, we live in a world where Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone Kevin) is how a middle aged man, so I guess it's all relative. Time marches on ☹. I've never been one for whiskey drinks, and I don't often drink at home, but I must say, that Washington Apple looks pretty tasty. Hmm.

It is delicious. And goes down very easy! My story predicting superpowers never feels on with this show. 🤣
